Good bye June.

We are officially over Spring now and this Spring was too much rain, it created a such wonderful environment for slugs, snails snapped off all my Dahlia and all tender annual flowers which I had planned for a rich, vibrant colours Summer. But the wild vegetation still take the show and the roses set the strong roots system in the second-year.

Hope you like selection of June and wish you have wonderful summer time.

It was picked in the garden and was lying under the sun for some hours. But they did rehydrate perfectly when I give them water and they come to live again like normal fresh one.

MOTHER'S DAY 2024

Mother's day is just 1 week away and I would love to invite you to see my flowers stand at Frederikshavn walking street, I will be there with my flowers on Saturday and Sunday. If you want to send the bouquet to your mom, I can delivery it with my bike which cost extra fee.

The bouquet will serve with Tulips, Daffodils and Greenery from my garden.

I got so many questions about what is different of and .

When you visiting plant center or even in supermarket, you could see there are so many varieties of flowers which looks like same but with different name, daffodils or narcissus.

The answer is: a daffodil is a trumpet shaped flower originating from a flower bulb and is part of a plant genus named Narcissus. All daffodils are in the group Narcissus. Daffodil is a common name used for Narcissus that have a large trumpet shaped bloom.

Marigold in Vietnamese culture and traditions of Tết holiday

The genus Marigold (scientific name: Tagetes) is a genus of about 60 species of annual and perennial herbaceous plants in the Asteraceae family. Marigold is a flower originating from Mexico.

This flower symbolizes longevity, eternity and immortality. During Tet, they also contain hidden meanings with the wish for peace as well as showing filial piety towards grandparents and parents.

Not only that, marigold flowers also symbolize warm sunlight, expressing the desire for a rich and prosperous life. The red color of the flower will mean long life and good health. The yellow marigold symbolizes optimism and positivity in life.

Besides, this flower also represents grief and commemorates the deceased. For that reason, many people use marigold flowers to decorate the family altar during the traditional Tet holiday.
