❤️ NEVER LATE… EXCEPT WHEN I AM ❤️

As many of you know, I have a pinch of German blood in my veins, which naturally means one thing: I’m NEVER late ⏰️

🚂 Well, that held true until November 21st, 2024, when DSB .dk (our beloved Danish railway) decided to spice up my day.
❄️The first snow of the season gently blanketed the railways—and promptly broke the entire train schedule. I found myself stuck between two stations for 1 hour and 10 minutes 🤯

💏 Meanwhile, my couple was waiting at the city hall for their most important day ever... until they weren’t. After 100 apologetic calls to them, they understandably decided to move on with their wedding without me. Their suggestion? “It’s okay, you can just go back home" 🤦🏻‍♀️

This past week has been a total whirlwind, and I couldn’t be happier! 🎉💪 Over the last 5 days, I:

♥️ A or B? ♥️

🥱In Danish, there are two types of people: "A" and "B." An "A" person jumps out of bed early, conquering the day like a productivity ninja until the evening - then they crash, completely drained, ready to reboot by 8 p.m. 😴

💪Then there’s the "B" person. They snooze their way through the morning but come alive as soon as the sun sets. That's when the magic happens, and they can work until the early hours, powered by moonlight and maybe too much coffee. 🌜☕️

⏳For the longest time (okay, maybe not thousands of years, but close enough 😉), I was a solid "B" person. My energy used to rise with the stars, kind of like Sam and Lila in that first photo.

🌸Then came Leia - and everything started to shift. Over the last 5-6 years, I’ve been this weird hybrid, half "A" and half "B," waking up early and working until 1 a.m. (yes, I know, insane). 🤯

🥴 But recently, my life has flipped again. Leia started school, which means 6 a.m. wake-ups for me, and guess what? By 23:30, I’m completely dead (yes, you read that right—11:30 p.m.!!). My body now thinks it's an "A" person, but my brain still wants to stay up late like a "B." 🤪

So, I’m rethinking my whole work-life routine. How do you all handle it? Are you an "A" person, or do you belong in the night-owl club with us "B's"? Let me know in the comments! ⬇️

🖥️Yesterday, as I sat next to my PC, transferring RAW files, she approached me with wide-eyed wonder. 😲
👱👩🏻‍🦱“Mom,” she said, “I can’t decide who’s more beautiful—the blonde or the dark-haired one.” She studied the photos for a while and concluded, “Honestly, both of them are adorable!” 😍

❤️ SELF PORTRAIT ❤️

😵‍💫 Yesterday, after hours of Photoshop tweaking, I took a break and wandered into the kitchen for some water 🥤

🌸 As I stood by the window, I noticed one of my garden peonies had lost all its leaves. Regret hit me for never capturing its beauty 🤷

☔So, I threw on a dress, grabbed a rain jacket to brave the wet grass (thanks, Danish summer, for your lovely +14°C and constant rain), and headed outside. There I was, awkwardly crouched in the damp grass, snapping a self-portrait 🤳

🥰 Despite everything, it turned out quite lovely. Funny how a day meant for digital editing ended up with a cherished photo, thanks to a forlorn flower and a spur-of-the-moment decision 😆
