Christmas at the Worker´s Museum - 21/11- 30/12-24

Experience Christmas during rationing period in the small apartment and in the shopping street on the first floor in the permanent exhibition 1950s.
Here, the homemaking mum has decorated for Christmas according to the designs of the time. She had to be creative and recycle due to rationing, shortages and high unemployment after World War II.

Lots of horses and beautiful old uniforms will be around in Copenhagen tomorrow for the official reception of the President of Egypt. At 09:25 he will ride in the old Landauer carriage together with the King and Queen. They will be taken from Kastellet in Copenhagen along Esplanaden and Store Kongensgade until Marmorkirken , they will turn right along the church, cross Bredgade to arrive at Amalienborg Palace at 9:40. It’s a magnificent sight if you are in town tomorrow. You won’t be alone but as you can see in the video there is ample space along the route to get a good view of the parade./Your Danish Life Team
