received his PhD degree from the University of Perpignan Via Domitia in France in Computer Science (Computer Architecture). He received the Master degree in Micro-architecture from the University of Boumerdes with a co-direction with the University of Perpignan in France in 2006. He received his Bachelor degree in Software Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Boumerdes. Started a Postdoctoral Research in Real-Time Embedded Software Group at the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Waterloo in Canada(RIM Blackberry Research Lab) in 2012. Before joining the University of Waterloo he has been a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia in France and as a Postdoctoral Internship at the University of Illinois – Champaign-Urbana, UIUC working in Compiler Design. He started working at Yahoo in Silicon Valley in July 2012 - Oath in 2016 and Verizon in 2019 as Principal Performance Engineer, Hardware and Software Optimization. Now Mourad is part of the Intel AI academy in Silicon Valley.
received his master’s and Ph.D degrees in computer science and engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble-TIMA Laboratory (France). He received his Engineer degree in computer engineering from Djillali Liabès University, Sidi Bel AbBès,. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in North Dakota State University (NDSU) in USA, and also, since June 2022 he has been the head of the AI on the Edge research group at Southern Denmark University (SDU), Denmark. Before, he worked as associate professor in the Graduate Engineering School ECE-Paris, France. After his PhD he worked as a research fellow at the University of Twente (The Netherlands). He also worked as a research fellow in several French research laboratories and institutes (CEA, CNRS LE2I-Lab University of Burgundy) and, an assistant professor at the University of Perpignan. In 2016, he was an Invited Professor at the Kyungpook National University, in South Korea, where he is developing projects around Embedded AI and Smart/Autonomous Vehicles. His main research topics are: AI on the Edge and Embedded ML/DL, CPS (Cyber Physical Systems), Smart Embedded Systems Design, embedded HW/SW architectures, Multi-CPU/FPGA platform based co-design, smart/autonomous vehicles; dependability/reliability of embedded systems, vision based smart cameras.
Dr Mohamed Senouci created “Nokhab”, a Youtube Channel and a platform that helps Algerian students and academics to be in touch with the new technologies and with Scientific Algerian all around the world.
