Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled salesperson to join our flower exporting company. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal characteristics that will enable them to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Knowledge: Understand the types of flowers and their varieties, care, and seasons of flowers to effectively advise customers and close sales.
2. Sales and Negotiation Skills: Identify sales opportunities, negotiate prices and conditions, and close deals effectively. Previous experience in sales, especially in the flowers export sector, is a plus.
3. Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, with customers from different cultures and countries.
4. Customer Orientation: Be empathetic and focused on meeting customer needs, handling complaints, and resolving problems efficiently.
5. Knowledge of International Markets: Have knowledge of international markets, regulations, and flower export logistics.
6. Ability to Work Under Pressure: Handle stress and meet deadlines, especially during peak seasons.
7. Adaptability and Flexibility: Adapt to different situations and be flexible in response to market or customer demand changes.
8. Ethics and Values: Share the company's values and culture, acting with integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the flowers export sector.
• Strong understanding of flowers and their commercial logistics.
• Fluent, spoken and written English. Other languages such as Russian, Chinese or others, could be useful.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity using digital communication and administration software, such as chats, spreadsheets, presentation and Administrative ERP
• Knowledge of international markets and export logistics.
• High level of adaptability and flexibility.
• Strong ethical standards and alignment with company values.
