FALL’ING IN LOVE WITH THE AUTUMN

Autumn and winter can be particularly advantageous seasons for hosting corporate events in the Baltics and Scandinavia for several reasons:

1. Unique Atmosphere:
- Scenic Beauty: The autumn foliage and the winter wonderland create picturesque backdrops, enhancing the overall experience for attendees. The natural beauty of the regions, featuring vibrant autumn colors or snowy landscapes, can elevate the event’s ambiance.
- Cultural and Seasonal Events: Many cities in the Baltics and Scandinavia host cultural festivals and seasonal markets during these months, providing unique opportunities for corporate events to engage with local traditions.

2. Availability and Pricing:
-Less Competition: Compared to the summer peak season, there are typically fewer events and conferences during the autumn and winter months, resulting in better availability of venues and accommodations.
- Cost-Effective: Many venues and service providers offer lower rates in off-peak seasons, potentially reducing overall event costs and allowing for better use of budgets.

3. Team Building Opportunities:
- Winter Activities: The winter season offers unique team-building opportunities, such as skiing, ice skating, or winter sports, fostering camaraderie and teamwork in a fun environment.
- Focus on Connection: The cozy atmosphere of colder months encourages more intimate gatherings and networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect more deeply.

4. Technological Enhancements:
- Focus on Virtual Engagement: As businesses adapt to hybrid and virtual formats, colder months provide the perfect context for integrating technology in events, making it easier to include remote participants and leverage digital platforms.

5. Seasonal Cuisine:
- Culinary Delights: Autumn and winter cuisine in these regions features hearty and warm dishes, often emphasizing local ingredients. This can enhance the dining experience at corporate events and showcase regional specialties.

6. Wellness and Retreat Themes:
- Focus on Wellbeing: Events can revolve around themes of wellness, reflection, and planning for the upcoming year, which can resonate well with employees and stakeholders. The quieter, cozy atmosphere is conducive to meaningful discussions and brainstorming.

7. Cultural Exploration:
- Rich Heritage: Autumn and winter are great times to explore local traditions, such as Christmas markets in December or harvest festivals in autumn, providing attendees opportunities to engage with the culture of the region.

8. Sustainability Initiatives:
- Green Focus: Many companies are prioritizing sustainability, and colder months can provide opportunities to highlight eco-friendly practices, such as using local products in catering or minimizing travel impact during off-peak seasons.

Getaway to Finland? Join Midsummer celebrations!

Finnish people have a close nature relationship, reflected in our language and vocabulary for nature. 💚 In Finnish, you'd call a birch forest like this one 'koivikko', since a birch tree is called 'koivu'. There is a word like this for the most common types of forests here; we use 'männikkö' for a pine forest and 'kuusikko' for a spruce forest! 🌲🌳

Vilnius Starts Petition to Erect a Pedro Pascal Sculpture in Lithuania's Capital.

Sign the petition here: https://chng.it/4GpgcVPNgJ

The tourism board of Vilnius has launched a petition to erect a statue of Pedro Pascal in Lithuania's capital. The actor, better known as the "Internet Daddy," has won the hearts of many with his outstanding performances, nuanced acting skills, and charming personality, earning him a huge following, including in Lithuania.

The petition aims to honor Pascal by creating a statue of him in a prominent location in Vilnius. Supporters argue that this would be a fitting tribute to the actor and a unique addition to the city's impressive array of sculptures. Additionally, it's expected to attract many followers and fans of Pascal, particularly younger generations, better known as Gen Z.

As Vilnius celebrates its 700th birthday this year, the tourism board sees many parallels between Pascal's charming personality and the city itself. Both are adored by their fans, young at heart, and possess an exceptional sense of humor. And just like Pedro, Vilnius looks better and better each year, always leaving you wanting more!

The tourism board hopes to gather 700,000 signatures to move forward with the project. Every signature counts, so all fans, please show your support!
