El Hawanem was founded in November 2010 by Samia Aboul Fotouh (one of the most renowned experts in organizing such events in Egypt) and POUR ELLE exhibitions. It first started out informally with a small exhibition comprising 15 exhibitors in April 2009 and has successfully transformed into a formal registered company for organizing women's exhibitions in April 2010. The company currently has a da
tabase of 300 and more exhibitioner that covers all aspects of women's products. Pour EllE successfully organized 20 events before joining forces with Samia Aboul Fotouh. Together they organized twelve events between December 2010 and May 2012. Each event had a certain theme and accordingly a different location. Our exhibitions have grown into a sought out after outlet for all items related to what a woman needs either for herself, her children or her home. Each exhibition features a different theme as per the season or if there is a special occasion like Mother's day or Christmas. Every time an exhibition is organized we select an NGO or a charity for which we collect funds for the duration of the exhibition.
