I KNOW YOU CHARGE $1,000.00 PER PARTY, BUT I DON'T THINK IT'S WORTH THAT MONEY. WHAT I CAN PAY IS $500.00 IF IT'S GOOD FOR YOU..

THE DJ RESPONDS: OK, IT'S FINE.
BY THE WAY, HOW MUCH DOES A BOTTLE OF ALCOHOL COST AND THE BAR OWNER SAYS: $400-$500.00 AND THE "MUSICIAN" SAYS: WELL, BRING ME A BOTTLE, BUT I'LL ONLY PAY $100.00, WHICH IS WHAT IT REALLY COSTS.

WHAT...? SAYS THE EVENT OWNER....GOOD FRIEND, I HAVE TO PAY EMPLOYEES, WAITER, SECURITY AND BASIC SERVICES... NO FRIEND, SO YOU CAN'T PUT A PRICE ON MY ALCOHOL!

THEN THE DJ SAYS: IF I CAN'T PUT A PRICE ON YOUR ALCOHOL, WHY DO YOU PUT A PRICE ON MY WORK? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS FOR ME TO SEARCH FOR, BROWSE OR BUY MUSIC? HOW MANY YEARS HAVE I SPECIALIZED TO BE ABLE TO WORK WITH TURNS AND MIXAGES? HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO NOT SPEND TIME WITH MY FAMILY, AND HOW MUCH DOES MY EQUIPMENT COST, HEADPHONES, CONTROLLER, TURNTABLES, MIXER, CABLES, SOUND SYSTEM, FUEL AND MUCH MORE???
