Little off topic people but there are definitely friends on this profile that are fans/members of 1 of the over 2000 'Social Clubs' across Spain and the islands.
They come from a movement based on basic human rights, Right2Grow and Right2 come together as adults!
The Giggling Guiri has a few hats and one of them is I am one of the founding members for the Irish chapter of PFSA (Patients For Safe Access) and with it Ihave a podcast for several years called "Canna We Talk Now?" which is designed to give an online platform for patients (in Ireland) who don't have a voice and live under very harsh prohibition!
But now in Barcelona, Spain the spiritual home of the CSC under the latest Town Hall administration there is a serious attempt to 'Clean Up The City' and close the CSCs.
The biggest issue has always been they have been kept in a legal grey area for years now rather than politicians showing the moral courage to regulate responsibly!
My recent drops on the podcast have been a little mini series called 'Run around the Bloc' where I talk to the most qualified voices in each region to dig down into what is happening...
Legal markets like UK, Malta I've covered recently but the latest is focused on our own Spain when I spoke with the brilliant Óscar Parés one of the protagonists of ICEEERS amongst other things!
There is a feeling amongst theCannabis community that all the hard fought for and won rights are now in real jeopardy!

We have massive news on the horizon that could mean that the GG is about to RE-un-retire for some very cool projects!!

Today is officially Mulla't when people across Catalonia will take a dive in your favourite pool of bathing spot!!

It is the biggest fundraising day for MS in the country there is a myriad of ways to contribute to such a worthy cause!
There are 7500 people living with this incredibly debilitating disease in Catalonia alone with another 60,000 in Spain.
There are 4 known cases including myself (on this profile!) so we really are just a couple of degrees away!
We are so lucky particularly in Barcelona to be so close to Europe's No.1 MS research foundation especially at a time when AI is really lighting a fire under new diagnostic tools, treatments and even the holy grail for MSers - Remylenation of our nervous system!! 💪

If you can give something you can most easily do by getting some quality beachwear clobber as we start vamosing a la Playas! 💚🥰

Have concluded after last nights drivel apart from one moment that Garrett Southgate is to management what Harry Kane is to defense! 😉

Meanwhile Big screens were going up in Pl. Catalunya which is a serious tribute to the Lamine Lamahl effect... and the genius of the City's own Fabrica de Cabras (GOATS) - La Masia!😂

But it appears the location now is under debate could it be the Trauma associated with memories of how the Rangers supporters had to be literally coralled into the same square under wall to wall headlines of CERDITOS!! (PIGS)!

Hopefully English fans will represent better this time than the Scottish that time...

Bring on Domingo I will as ever be watching from my terrace where my cheers on the the Spanish semifinal (I backed them at 8/1) was greeted by my neighbour's - P**a España!

The Race is on for the 'Live Comedy Ticket of the Year' as the search for BCN's Funniest FICer reaches its conclusion when the best 9 sets from an original 33 will do battle and only the performance on the night will decide...
There will be €900!!! worth of Stoke Travel and a paid berth supporting the next major Giggling Guiri show to land in early '24 and more important than all of that the Winner gets to gloat all round the city for 12 months as the Funniest FICer in the city!
