As we sit here in November planning Christmas and still calming down from an immense summer 2023 it seems slightly odd to already be talking about summer 24…… but…… I honestly couldn’t be happier to be sharing this announcement tonight!! I cannot WAIT and am truly humbled and honoured to be back as resident for One More Time Ibiza. I also can’t wait to join all these names and to get back on the decks doing what I love and playing the music we all love so much from back in the day - those original Ibiza house and trance classics. And after all it’s 24 weeks to go till kick off as well as my 24th season playing on the island so how very apt to share this news tonight …..plus it’s more than enough time to plan that Ibiza getaway ;-)) See you at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) one more Time. Omg - that was just immense. Parting shot of me and Sean Hughes taken at 05.45 this morning says it all. Just so humbled to have been on those decks once again. Thanks to Nick Ferguson, Dexter Jones and Emma-Robyn Swaine for all things One More Time Ibiza this year - it’s been an absolute blast. Also thanks to each and everyone who has danced to my classics sets, who have sent messages of support, come out on school nights and even hopped on planes to surprise me. My birthday and the whole of summer 2023 has been insane - What a way to finish up closing the Kevin & Perry Amnesia Experience at Amnesia Ibiza. One for the books - every set I heard both last night and throughout the summer were also rocking and I never take being on these lineups alongside so many of my original inspirations for granted trust me. Until 2024 - Thankyou one more time 😉

Back in June 2022 I had one of the best nights of my entire DJ career when I played the Kevin and Perry Reunion at Amnesia. This photo is just a small snapshot of that incredible night - so much fun surrounded by so many friends celebrating over twenty years of amazing Ibiza memories and recreating the vibe and the music we all love so much from the late nineties and early noughties. I also went to the second event in September ‘22 and though not playing that particular night it was another stomper!! - these events are super special indeed. Fast forward to September 2023 and though we know it’s been coming for some time, just a few weeks ago I’m honoured to say I was asked to join the lineup One More Time for Kevin & Perry Amnesia Experience 2023. For me it’s just the best end to another fab summer with these guys - we already did 9 packed events at Eden this summer and so to round it off with the One More Time family is another dream come true. I can’t wait to rejoin these Ibiza legends, to get back on those Amnesia Ibiza decks and to slam out all things classic trance. Little bit of a realisation today as I contemplate yet again the 23 years spent in Ibiza. I first appeared in DJ Mag Ibiza back in 2002 as a young Charly’s Angel. We’d already completed a couple of seasons and were well and truly flying the girl power flag with our weekly all female DJ lineups at Club Summum, Sundance at Benimussa Park, at spin off shows in Mallorca and had started down at Play 2 also. Those early years were such a whirlwind and as I regularly had pinch myself “oh my god we are DJing in Ibiza moments” never in my life did I think I’d be here all these years later and certainly never did I contemplate even half the stuff that I’ve been lucky enough to do since. I’ve never taken for granted the opportunities I’ve been given, never forgotten the people who opened those first doors as well as others who have allowed me to become part of their worlds since. I’ve never also forgotten the feelings of those very first nights DJing at Itaca, Club Summum and Benimussa right at the start, the exhilaration and honour of being given and holding the Judgement residency, the nervousness I felt playing ar Space, Amnesia, Hï, El Divino, Es Paradis and so much more. But mostly I’ve never forgotten the feeling you get when you touch down on this amazing island. I feel so lucky to still call this place home.

As you get older and watch others begin their journeys, sell out shows, produce their own Ibiza anthems, experiences and legacy’s , I literally beam for them knowing how much both the island and those experiences mean in the moment and will mean forever. I feel very honoured to still be working both in the music industry, alongside so many of those artists who share the love of the music and this place as a whole …..and so to now be reappearing in DJ Mag Ibiza a whole 21 years after my first feature is just so humbling. I also feel honoured to be a resident back at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) for One More Time Ibiza where we do a one off midsummer extravaganza next Thursday ;-))

So for the first Thursday in 9 weeks I’m not getting my shizz together for my residency at One More Time Ibiza at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page). It’s so crazy after so much planning that we’ve now already done all those amazing parties, my big birthday and that even more DJ dreams have been ticked off the list. We’ve had an absolute ball and whilst I’ll miss these Thursday shenanigans I’m wishing all the SHINE Ibiza crew the best summer now as upfront trance takes the helm. Thankyou to each and everyone who came to support us not least so many friends who flew over and the weekly San An massive 😉 you know who you all are and am so very grateful for your love and support - and if you love trance then please do keep up the Thursday pilgrimage to Eden Ibiza where I’ll see you this time on the dance floor. Wow how quickly did that 8 weeks go. Literally can’t believe we are already celebrating the closing today!!! I’ve had so much fun with so many legends across the classic house and trance fraternity this past few weeks. It’s been awesome to catch up with so many old friends, to reconnect also in many ways to being Vicky Devine at Eden again (and where I’ve played so many times this past 23 years) and to be able to play so much music that remains and will remain in my heart and soul for evermore. And that’s what One More Time Ibiza is all about which is why it’s been an honour also to serve as resident for this brand. Thankyou to everyone who has come by - you have one more chance to strut your stuff tonight when I join Dave Pearce, Sean Tyas and Alex Ellenger - all Ibiza legends in there own rights - one more time at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page). It’s that time of the week as we approach Thursday and another One More Time Ibiza at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) when I share this weeks lineup …..but this one’s a little different. That’s because In 0-5 days I turn the big 5-0 and so a few days before on Thursday I’m gonna go all out to celebrate reaching half a century of life. In the past I could never have envisaged me posting that on social media. 50 when I was growing up was ancient lol And still today I see various posts across the socials alluding to the fact that the scene and indeed much of life itself should be only for those under the age of 40. In addition 50 is a bit of a funny age when most of your mates kids are now out raving themselves and / or are achieving their own well deserved dreams. But let me say that when you reach 5-0 that doesn’t stop you still having dreams of your own. Nor in my opinion should it be a milestone where you should accept defeat and think you are too old to still maybe achieve things you hadn’t yet had the time or the support / circumstances to do - far from it. In fact 50 is a point to reflect on all you’ve been lucky enough to live and achieve so far as well as to continue the plans to have as much fun as possible in whatever life you may have left whilst also trying to help others with that experience you’ve garnered.

So with that in mind - this Thursday is the big one. I’ve been DJing now in Ibiza for almost half my life (23 years) and I’ve never played on the same lineup as who arguably is not only the person who helped discover the balearic sound back in the 80s and take it back to the UK but also is one of the godfathers of the rave scene as a whole and particularly trance music. I cannot wait to join that man himself Paul Oakenfold as well as long time Ibiza resident and legend Jason Bye on the decks and hopefully lots of you guys on the dancefloor too.

And just to add that whilst I’ve been told in the past that I’m too old to DJ, too old to be in Ibiza, too old to stage manage, too old to still be connected to the rave scene, too old to have pink hair, too old to wear those shorts etc etc etc As a woman who started going to raves in 1991 and who not only changed their life completely to dedicate it to dance music and who has worked in virtually every capacity within this industry - I ain’t going anywhere 😉 I may not have achieved every dream on the way so far and in retrospect I may have done a few things differently…. but I’m lucky enough after all these years to still love and work with my passion … music. I’m also lucky enough to have met so many like minded souls along the way and who are still also DJing, raving and working in the scene well into their later years - indeed so many are still pioneering and sketching the future in music. You can either judge me or join me but my love of dance music and rave will never wane till the day I die - this I promise. Lol I did not come this far to be told by anyone that I’m too old. ;-)) I hope you’ll join me this Thursday at One More Time Ibiza to celebrate not only my big birthday but to hear so much of the music that has helped to define us and our scene along the way and which cements the inclusivity for all that is the bedrock of rave.

So todays the day!! Happy to be home in San Antonio and back at the club where it all began for me. When I came to Ibiza as a clubber in 2001, Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) was the first club I stepped foot in and so not only is it unreal to be able to say I’ve been DJing there ever since but I’ve grown up alongside the club along the way. This year I’ll also be celebrating my 50th birthday and for the first time in my DJ career playing alongside Paul Oakenfold. I hope you can all join me to celebrate then on June 22nd and on all the Thursdays in between plus the grand finale with Dave Pearce, Sean Tyas and one of the very original Ibiza legends and longtime Eden residents (and friend) Alex Ellenger on June 29th. But for now let’s get this show on the road. Tonight I join Tall Paul and Jo Mills for the opening fiesta of One More Time Ibiza and look forward to seeing lots of faces there too! Vamos - and a genuine thank you for 23 years of joy in this club so far. Let’s make new memories ;-))

A little . Yesterday was world book day and this weekend I was lucky enough to finally get my hands on the Lady of the House book written to highlight the talents of women in dance music. I was also lucky enough to be included in this and to actually see it in print with so many of my photos and fliers scattered throughout alongside so many fantastic powerhouses that exist in this amazing scene was truly humbling. When I first came to Ibiza back in 2000 I was just a young girl with a dream of DJing at a big club one day. I never in my life thought it would lead to all the incredible moments both on this little island and eventually around the world that it has, not to mention a life career in electronic music. I feel so so lucky to have experienced so many events - have met and worked with so many amazing people along the way and it all started by going to a rave with one of my girl friends back in 1991, working my way through thousands of parties in the 90s and just loving the music so much and wanting to share these moments as much as possible that it led to starting an all female night called Charlys Angelz in Ibiza in 2001. I’m inspired by so many women in this world and it’s as fabulous and as motivating to work with them as it is to see them represented here. I’m looking forward to seeing several of them also at IMS this week as we all continue this crazy journey in music.

Thankyou team Lady Of The House for being another important milestone in my journey and also for supporting and highlighting women in Dance Music. And Thankyou also for this wonderful book that will have pride of place in my home.

It’s been a difficult week for all involved but the good news is that the main event at Koko looks like a sellout and so you’ll get your classic fix from some of the best in the London biz right there. AFTER PARTY ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with massive regret that we have to cancel the after party at The Camden.

Due to new management in place at The Camden, our booking, even the signed contract we sent back, got misplaced and they hired it out to someone else.. and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. We only found out last week after I sent them an e-mail with the ticket sales update.

Obviously all After Party ticket holders will get a full refund from Skiddle, we are just checking to see if that includes the booking fee..If not, we will refund you that directly either by bank transfer or giving it to you in cash at Koko, you will just need to bring proof of ticket purchase.

Chris has spent 3 days trying to secure another venue within walking distance of Koko, but as you know, it’s a bank holiday weekend so nothing was available. We do have to say a big thanks to Hans at Egg LDN who did come up with a possible solution but that would have meant you all getting a train to Kings X, (thinking most of you won’t be driving!) then the long walk to the club, and then we would have had to have changed rooms half way through the night. After careful consideration and bearing in mind many peeps do not like venue changes last minute, we took the decision to cancel the afters event and concentrate all our efforts on the main event. Our huge apologies to everyone who bought tickets and of course to the DJ’s booked and we thank you all for your understanding. On a brighter note, Chris is planning an upfront Peach trance party and we are hoping to reschedule all the after party DJ’s for that event, more info on that when everything is confirmed.

Seeing lots of posts with Ibiza opening parties and with IMS also next week the season is about to well and truly lift off. So many memories of previous summers since coming here first as a clubber and rookie DJ in 2000 right through the different eras to today still living on the island, DJing and working in artist and music management. It’s so unreal to even type that we are about to embark on summer 2023 (my 23rd season here). It’s also 23 days to go till I start my residency alongside so many friends I had the fortune of meeting and working with along the way at One More Time Ibiza at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page). It’s been a few years since I had so many fliers to post but I couldn’t be more excited to be on the lineups of all of these. Starting with the Peach afterparty at The Camden in London at the end of April, I’ll then be starting an amazing weekly residency for One More Time Ibiza at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) as well as joining the Slip Back In Time presents Old Skool Ibiza 2023 family for their week of mad shenanigans at the end of May and before heading up to Burnley to play the massive Retro In The Park for the late May bank holiday. One More Time takes us right up to July and at all of these events you can expect to hear me playing all the trance anthems we loved throughout the 90s, noughties and early 20-teens. It’s means the world to me to still be able to share my love of all things trance and to dust off all the records that were so integral in my sets throughout my many years behind the decks. And though I’ve not had chance to produce these last few years whilst I’ve been working in artist management I’m also back in the studio working on some new music too. Am excited for 2023 and really looking forward to seeing so many faces as we go into the summer!! I hope to catch many of you at one of these 😉

It’s A State Of Trance weekend so what better time to share this. It was an absolute dream come true when I got to play alongside some other incredible trance artists at ASOT 550 in D’en Bosch. I was so super proud and honoured to be on this lineup and it was two days after I got married and so doubled up as a honeymoon also ;-)) I wasn’t aware it would be broadcast live on ASOT radio until I stepped up to the decks so the nerves well and truly kicked in but I knew I had some belters to share not least some tracks from my DEVA Recordings label and what was then my brand new track Stellium which I’d literally just finished. Hope you enjoy the mix - again a lot of memories associated with this one and am wishing all playing and attending ASOT this weekend an amazing time 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Trance Tuesdays and throwing it back to a mix that’s very special to me. This one really did come from the heart after losing my best friend at that time (we still love and miss you Sarah PVC) and having just met the man I would go onto marry (ironically at her funeral). We were all absolutely reeling at the sad loss of Sarah, and Brett and I started dating not long after and at the time when I recorded this mix (I was also transitioning from vinyl to CD and I think therefore it is 50/50) and it brings back so so many memories of those emotional months a whole 18 years ago. Anyway I hope you enjoy and I also hope the music touches your soul the way it did mine and still does ❤️

Wow what a blast from the past. Here’s some Sunday stomping for you. Absolutely used to play all these records at Charlys Ángelz at Play 2 during summer 2003 and also at Pams House UK vs Tonic at Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) where I was resident that summer a whole 20 years ago. I met some amazing lifelong friends in Ibiza 2003 - this mix brings back so many memories - it was the first year also I played at BCM in Majorca - I even played a trance set in Space Ibiza that year for Alex P’s big birthday extravaganza that he used to host there every year. Real crazy times that I forever hold in my heart and that I’m so proud to have been a part of. Another Saturday morning sesh brought to you courtesy of a vinyl bedroom mix 21 years ago. I recorded this after completing another season in Ibiza in Autumn 2002 and having also co-written my first vocal trancer with Sophie Sugar. We went over to a studio in the Netherlands and happened to be there at the same time as Ray Davies who was the resident in Eden Ibiza (Official Fan Page) at the time. His track was called Trip to Eden and ours was called Fearing Nothing and those tracks are the first two to feature on this mix (I’ve played the instrumental version here). Rays track ended up on compilation albums and ours also was supported well - I still love both these records which are of course still in my vinyl collection in my studio. Hope you enjoy this mix - it was a labour of love also featuring some other timeless favourite tracks that I still play in classics sets today. Thanks again for the support Trance Women Of The World

Here’s something to get you movin on this Saturday morning. Mixed on vinyl in my bedroom a whole 21 years ago ;-)) So many of the tracks that meant so much to me at the time in here not least “Icarus- The Flight” which I played at the Kevin and Perry Reunion at Amnesia in Ibiza last June. A real concoction of progressive, melodic trance and banging tech trance at the end just the way I loved it then and still do right through to this day. One More Time!! This year marks my 24th summer in Ibiza, my 23rd year playing at Eden and a rather large birthday in June. When I first stepped foot in Eden in summer 2000 I was just a girl living the early DJ dream - I went to Tonic and then to the very first Judgement Sundays as a tourist and I literally told all my friends that I wanted to be a resident in that club one day. This place has always been a home from home for me and there has never been a summer since that I have not played here including an over ten year stint as Judgement resident. That said, and even after the literally hundreds of shows I’ve played here - I honestly cannot tell you what it means to me to be on this lineup all these years later in summer 2023. And what a lineup it is to join. Totally honoured to play alongside all of these legends and to bring as many of the anthems as possible from throughout my whole journey in Ibiza back to that amazing dancefloor where I first danced 23 years ago. I truly cannot wait for this. See you in May. See you at Eden. Let’s do this One More Time ❤️

Had so much fun working on this with DJ Lisa Lashes I think we had about one hundred channels on this by the time we’d finished. That wasn’t the plan but we were literally buzzing and bouncing with ideas drawing on our love of different genres to fuse them together - hence the name “Kaleidoscope”. The track was released on Fraction Records - an absolutely amazing label back then but that sadly no longer exists.
