On Thursday July 5th, we are having our Startup Grind Barcelona July event.

This month, we are hosting Pau Garcia-Milà, one of the most famous entrepreneurs in Spain. He founded eyeOS, when he was only 17. A few years later was elected as Spain's innovator of the year by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)'s TR-35. He's currently helping big multinationals with his innovation consultancy IdeaFoster.

We'll start at 7 pm, meeting each other while having a delicious craft beer by Maestró

At 8 pm it's time to to learn and laugh with 3 hilarious stories by;

- A martian ofice(less) manager. Bego Echeverria, after working +4 years as Director of Production for indie music festivals and cultural events in Mexico City, she launched a Mexican craft beer e-commerce in 2016. By mid-2017, she decided to try her luck in and was fortunate enough to end up landing on Mars. She's now Ofice(less) Manager of MarsBased and mother of two (cats).

- A CTO who speaks human language. Oriol Pelmon is a one-of-a-kind computer engineer. After more than 7 years working at a tech consultancy, he founded his own remote development agency while he travelled the world. Once back to Barcelona he bacame country manager and CTO at LoveToKnow.

- A polifacetic growth hacker. Tim Cakir is a marketing expert currently Head of Growth Marketing at restb.aii, Barcelona Chapter Leader at Online Geniuses and advisor at Spitche. Thanks to his passion and enthusiasm for digital marketing, multi-channel campaign management, client relationship development and his vast experience, he delivers real-world improvements to genereate significant increases in revenue growth and profitability.

At 9 pm the networking will continue at D9 (Pallars 122)!

We had so much fun attending 2017! It was a great time to meet people from all over the world, get to hear about various destinations, associations and new advances in events tech.
Our favorites in new tech were Travelful and Sciensio, super cool tools that can be used by most people in the events industry! Our favorite talks were The Art of Storytelling through Events with Lenny Talarico, the executive director of events at MGM and 3 Events Trends that Will Change the Way We Meet with Bo Krüger. Overall, such a great event and we hope to be back next year!
