Jocelyn and James loved the idea of having a live illustrator draw portraits of their guests to put in a book together with written messages to create a unique guest book....but of course also wanted the guests to have a portrait to take home as a lovely keepsake! This posed a challenge that required a certain amount of thought and coordination, and thanks to the obliging disposition and professionalism of Almudena .espaciocreativo we managed to find a way to make it happen!!

A year to the day Jocelyn and James had their legal marriage in the UK, they said 'we do' again in the presence of their favourite people and celebrated the day in the most special way at , an idyllic venue nestled in the mountains of Alicante with views of the quaint village of Castell de Guadalest as the backdrop.
The focus on 'Amor, Amistad y Familia'...love, friendship and family...made for an intimate, heartfelt, relaxed day and was just perfect in every way.
The feelings these two have for each other were evident in every look, every touch, every spoken word and it was a such pleasure to be a part of this day 🤍

These shots of Dan's getting ready session are so endearing! His attentive groomsmen were totally there for him on wedding day morning...supporting, keeping the nerves in check, creating a fun, relaxed atmosphere and then helping him into his suite and fixing the finer details to assure he looked dapper to receive his stunning bride Martha at the altar...
I think they did a great job, do you?!

This month marks the end of wedding season for me and October always comes with a feeling of new beginnings. The summer here in Spain is so unbearably hot and my youngest son has school holidays for 10 long weeks so routine disappears and it feels like life is on hold....but here we are again, finally back to 'normal' 😅

I've planned some beautiful weddings this year and I'm so very grateful to all my amazing couples for trusting me with their most special of days 🤍
I've also had the privilege of working with the loveliest wedding vendors these past few months. It's been an absolute pleasure to create magic with each and every one of you!

I'm now focusing on next year's weddings and I also have something exciting to look forward to over the next few weeks....I'll be working with the amazing Jon on my website copy and by the end of the year I will be launching my brand new website which will of course also feature the gorgeous brand identity created for me last year by the talented Laura .studio.
I can't wait to see it all come together and finally share this labour of love which has been a long time coming!

It's always so exciting to receive a wedding gallery from the photographer!
Once I've had a quick scroll through, I go back to the start and look at them in more detail, I particularly focus on all the shots that show the aesthetics and set up and scrutinise them in detail (I'm my biggest critic for sure...) as things can look different from how they did in person or from a different perspective. I find it a great exercise to learn and grow from each new experience!

However, as much as I love all the pretty ones, the photos that make me really happy, that make me smile, and "ooh" and "aah" out loud are those of the smiles, the laughs, the hugs, the chatting, the looks...all those that equate to a whole lot of love between my couples and their favourite people...
They are the photos that are truly beautiful!
