Casa Batlló 🏡

Casa Batlló is a building in the center of Barcelona. It was designed by Antoni Gaudí and is considered one of his masterpieces. A remodel of a previously built house, it was redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí and has been refurbished several times after that. Gaudí's assistants Domènec Sugrañes I Gras, Josep Canaleta and Joan Rubió also contributed to the renovation project.

At first Josep Batlló plans were to tear down the old building and construct a completely new house. Gaudí convinced Josep that a renovation was sufficient and was also able to submit the planning application the same year. The building was completed and refurbished in 1906.

In the same year the Barcelona City Council selected the house as a candidate for that year's best building award. The award was given to another architect that year despite Gaudí's design.

Park Guell 🏜

The Park Güell (Spanish: Parque Güell) is a public park system composed of gardens and architectural elements located on Carmel Hill, Barcelona, Spain.

The park was originally part of a commercially unsuccessful housing site, the idea of Eusebi Güell, after whom the park was named. He assigned the design of the park to Antoni Gaudí, a renowned architect.

The idea was inspired by the English garden city movement; hence the original English name Park (in Catalan the name is "Parc Güell").

The park was built from 1900 to 1914 and was officially opened as a public park in 1926. In 1984, UNESCO declared the park a World Heritage Site under "Works of Antoni Gaudí".

Visiting time: Winter: 8:30 – 17:30 Hours/ Summer: 7:30 – 20:30 (*Timing differs as per season & festivals)

Sagrada Familia🏛

The Basílica de la Sagrada Familia is a large unfinished Roman Catholic minor Basilica in Spain.

Designed by architect Antoni Gaudi (1852–1926), his work on the building is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Construction started on 19 March 1882 (75-80 % completed till date).
Estimated year for completion of project: 2028

100% financed by private donation & Money generated by entrances.

Visiting time: Open Every Day, 9:00 – 19:00 Hours (Timing may differ as per season & festivals)
