WOW Deco - Worlds Of Wonder

We dedicate this post to our installation at Transition Festival 2025
Specifically our lycra roof composition, which had its debut at the festival.
Our previous post was focused mainly on the stage, but I took over 200 amazing photos of the decor, and I wanted to showcase these awesome shots of the roof.

Preparing for this festival last year, in the wake of losing Donna was a huge task on an emotional level.
Just being in the studio alone without her was hard enough, let alone the physical challenge of making everything without her practiced hand to help.
Nevertheless we pushed ourselves and created what was in my opinion our most beautiful installation out of the many we have built in the pine forest over the last 12 years.
It was a rewarding experience that no doubt made Donna's spirit shine with pride 💛

However, it has now been many years that we've been decorating the main floor of the festival, which has meant that every winter and spring we have to dedicate months of concentrated work in the studio to be ready for the May deadline. This means creating a large new roof, a whole new complex stage design, hanging elements and inflatables, art on fabric to surround the dancefloor... Truly a lot of work!

Though we love to create, and it has been great to have this deadline to motivate us, this will be the first year we are taking a break from decorating Transition Festival.

We will definitely miss the special ritual that is held there and all the lovely Transition tribe, but this year, as we adapt to the huge changes in our lives on both personal and business levels, we really appreciate the break from the creative pressure.

We will still be busy in the studio manifesting some awesome new additions to our many themes, and we hope to return with something really special in 2026.

Just want to say a big thank you to Jesus Gonzalez & Jana Porichis for the trust and understanding, and say what a special journey it has been sharing and contributing our art and energy to this unique festival for so many years

These are some photos from an awesome NYE party we decorated for - a really cool collective run by a great team down in Murcia who celebrate and play a wide variety of quality electronic dance music; psytrance, tekno, drum and bass...
We really appreciate their tastes, ethos and friendly professionalism.

The party was a huge success and the decoration was loved and respected by all the guests 😄

Our own Tribe of Frog Halloween event was an absolute scream this year!
A really heartwarming & memorable night full of spooky antics, smiling faces & killer psytrance 🔥🖤🎃🖤🔥

Our good friend Brenda was also on the case taking awesome photos of everyone, so we have some great pics to remember the night with.

Lots of love for our froggy family of Valencian ravers 🐸🎵🤘

We will be donating over half of the proceeds to help alleviate the terrible situation in Valencia after the recent floods ❤️

Some crazy shots of the madness that was the Retro Halloween 2024!

It's been a week of long hours of hard work creating two immersive environments for this massive Halloween breakbeat event in Jerez de la Frontera, in the south of Spain.

We were decorating two huge tents, one where we collaborated with who built the impressive, projection-mapped stage, while we designed the Halloween style dancefloor.
And another really huge 38m wide circus tent, which we transformed into a mystical forest, decorating the whole space, including roof, walls and stage.

We had quite a few challenges to overcome, including our van breaking down before we finished the setup, but we powered through and everything came together successfully.

Lots of appreciation for our crew, we all put in a huge effort, but it was satisfying to stand back and admire our work on Saturday as thousands of Andalusian ravers had a wicked night to remember!

Now it's back home to host our own psychedelic Halloween event! Never a dull moment in the life of a decor artist!

We used our latest Tribes of Earth and Enchanted Forest material to create two stages for a multicultural event comprising many different musical styles to celebrate the wide diversity of nationalities who avail themselves of Ria's services

Yesterday we finished dismantling our installations for the fiestas patronales of Guadalajara.

There was power this time so we were able to photograph the second room, which we decorated in an intergalactic style.

We were told that the tent was a roaring success, everyone enjoyed it immensely every night of the festivities.
It was our pleasure to work with the friendly and professional organizers of , and bring the gift of art and fluorescent magic to the people of Guadalajara.

Giant forest stage installation we made recently in the town of Candeleda in Ávila!

Utilising a wide selection of our forest themed creations we brought the whole stage to life in an epic way and blew away all the local townsfolk 😁✨💥🌿🌳🍄🦋🪲🌀

Our Aztec Jungle theme looked immersive & exuberant when installed in what is already an impressive venue - an authentic medieval castle!

Truly magical to behold from the dancefloor. It's always a pleasure to create such unique spaces for people to enjoy.
Our thanks to the organizers & the castle owners for being so great to work with!

Again, it was hard to revisit this venue without Donna, but we know she would be so happy with the work we did. Her spirit is always felt ✨💖✨

Our top photographic picks from our experience decorating the main floor at Transition Festival this year.

It's a very profound and rewarding experience, designing and creating the artwork to adorn a psychedelic gathering, and one which we always pour a lot of heart and soul into.

This year was particularly challenging as our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beloved queen Donna, and we were missing her contribution with her many talents.
Nevertheless we decided to accept this challenge and do our best, and I'm really proud of what we accomplished.

We brought our whole enchanted forest style to another level and transformed the forest into a glowing, organic amphitheatre.
I was so transfixed with all the new artwork, I couldn't stop taking photos of it. So much so that I don't have a single photo of us and the many awesome outfits we wore.
What with DJing, performing on stage, dancing, making friends.. the festival always flies by.

This year was physically and emotionally exhausting, but it was also very beautiful. To see all the smiles on people's faces, to feel the high vibrations in the air as they danced and played around the dancefloor, and hear how much people enjoyed themselves and were so grateful for all our creative efforts, made it all feel truly worthwhile.

Events and experiences like these are why we do what we do.

We know that Donna would be so proud, and is behind us every step of the way ❤
