ODJ Pirkka, somewhat of a grey cardinal of Helsinki, has been locally active since well before you were born. That would barely be an exaggeration, as he got into deejaying jungle around 1995, just when it's first wave was starting to fade and the genre morphed into an early DNB and jump up. Now, countless amount of releases and parties past, he keeps spreading the roots through the works of EABE records, as well as 20Hz - a jungle-focused club night and a radio show he curates together with DJ Sofa.

DJ Sofa, in turn, has been building a massive line-up of vinyl releases that now are finally starting to emerge on prominent UK labels as Futureretrolondon and Rackedrecords to name a few. No matter the steady output, quality always comes first over quantity in her precisely crafted, 90’s and 00’s referring releases. The two of Finland’s finest junglism - in the second part of the night this Friday.

Just before the tempo falls over 150, Jeku will showcase the sound that has brought him from Helsinki underground well far into the global one. With releases on self-curated Non-Temporal music as well as recent exemplar exports to Haws_music, Avoidance and Craigie Knowes, Jeku’s staple mixture of tranced electro, acid and techno has become synonymous with forward-thinking modern dance music.

This time, we ourselves will be laying the grounds for you to stomp on. Accelerated black belt promotion within the first 2 hours guaranteed, come early not to miss out 🥋

Share your bit of spring craze with us, as we invite you to the most wide-ranging and, most definitely, the bassiest night to date. An experimental blend of cut-edge trance and uk-leaning syncopated anthems will be provided by the masters of their craft, each given plenty of time to unveil. On 17.03, we will happily see you again at the night out that marks one year of hotspotting🎈

Our next, very special edition is presented to all you lovely hotspotters already on the 14th of January. We’ve prepared a spacious yet intimate location with quite a pyramid of speakers and made arrangements with few local desperados who are normally hard to catch in one place 🤼 Multi-layered euphoria to melt your hearts and the snow off your shoulders.

So what’s ahead? Friday, 16.09 - a more daring, bigger experiment in breeding the eclectic psychedelia that makes your head bounce and mind go places. This time we’re catching onto the party steeze with people who have seen plenty in Helsinki: Bonanza Boyz and Jenny Om ⚡️ We’ve blown a wish for a phhhat peak time by the Boyz and late hours wizardry by Jenny to make the floor levitate… fingers crossed! A groovy start - on us, a good night - ahead.
