Valon polun valotapahtuma hehkuu ja hurmaa Turussa 3. - 6. joulukuuta. Tämänvuotisesta valotapahtumasta on tulossa edeltäjäänsä suurempi ja kansainvälisempi.
Tapahtuman näyttävät valoteokset sijoittuvat Aurajoen ympäristöön. Ne ammentavat kaupungin merellisyydestä sekä hyödyntävät jokiuoman avointa maisemaa ja eri suunnista avautuvia näkymiä.

Valotapahtuma kuluttaa suhteellisen vähän sähköä, m***a tuottaa paljon iloa suurelle joukolle.
Arvio tapahtuman sähkönkulutuksesta on 2 MWh. Jos jokainen tapahtumakävijä samm***aa tunnin ajaksi kotoaan 10 watin valon, riittää se jo korvaamaan tapahtuman energiankulutuksen.

The big Christmas opening day of the weekend kicked off the Turku Christmas season. The lighting of the spruce lights at the cathedral and a gorgeous Christmas parade brought the Christmas atmosphere and the smell of mulled wine to the city. 🎅

We're just a little under week 3 to go. -6.12. Remember to come to the Valo Polku light event! 🤩
Attached is a map picture of the location of the works, so you can orientate. This year the theme of the light event is water and maritime, so the artworks will take place by Aurajoki. The route can be taken in any order. Because you can see it in a lot of side programs in addition to the works, it might be a good idea to divide the route into parts and come on several days.
We are expecting a lot of visitors to Valo path like last year, so please leave your car at home to avoid traffic jams and come in other ways. There's time, because the event lasts for four days, and the artworks can be seen every day from dusk from Saturday evening at 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday evening.

The year's most atmospheric season kicks off in Turku in a spectacular way tomorrow on Saturday 26.11. A diverse program on offer from morning to evening!
At 12 o'clock a spectacular snowfall ball with its gorgeous contents will be revealed in the brand new Kauppatori. Hosted by Kirkonrats, at the Spruce Festival starting at 15.45, we will light the Tuomiokirkko tree lights and enjoy the music. The evening culminates with a wonderful Christmas parade accompanied by the audience Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova to the pedestrian street and the Market Market Market, where the Snow Queen lights up the Christmas street lights.
