The significance of the wedding arch dates back to a Jewish tradition when a "Chuppa" (four legged canopy) would be used during wedding ceremonies. The open sides of the Chuppa represented hospitality, the same way the tent of Abraham was open to all. The canopy represented the presence of God over the marriage.
Today, though there are many versions of the wedding arch, may we never forget its significance and the sacredness of the marriage covenant sealed under it💍🔐
