We’re excited to be partnering with veikau bula on her first solo exhibition which launches this week in Suva. We’re especially grateful that the artist Rachael Halstead has given us this amazing opportunity to partially curate and manage our first art exhibition as well. Just having fun with video interviews. It helps break the ice with nervous clients - even though Michelle is no stranger to cameos, professional interviews can be daunting, so weaving quirky moments into these situations helps us obtain some really "hearty" content.
Torque is contracted to the Pacific Feminist Fund for the provision of various services and we're loving the energy also provided at the Greenhouse Coworking space, Suva, Fiji.

Torque Atelier is working with Good Return over the next 4 days to meet rural women across parts of Viti Levu who are trying to access financial assistance through their partners like Merchant Bank of Fiji (via the newly introduced Marama Finance.)

Good Return is a social purpose organisation working across the Asia Pacific region, enabling women and their families to access opportunities and build financial security. Their focus is to provide responsible finance to local entrepreneurs, as well as education and business training to women and other excluded groups to build confidence and financial capability. The result is a growing generation of empowered women entrepreneurs, taking control of their finances, their livelihoods and their futures.

We had the privilege of meeting members of Vakabalea Women's Cooperative today in Navua.
