Race day!!!! Keeping everyone fed is our job! It’s the final for everyone and it’s the last week of the season, so it’s treats all round! For lunch today….salmon and roasted beetroot salad followed by chicken forestière and of course cake for dessert. Great week !

On the menu for lunch today, truffle Burrata salad, Cod fillet on a bed of fennel and celeriac with a pea and mint velouté and Atlantic caviar, followed by cheese (of course) and for dessert a honey and vanilla crème brûlée. Accompanied by some superb wines from Chateau Seraphine. Thanks again Martin for inviting me to cook, as always it was an absolute pleasure

Oh I’ve missed private cheffing since covid. You arrive in a kitchen you don’t know with the equipment you have and it’s real test of creativity. Tonight was a fabulous surprise, the kitchen and house was amazing, clean plates all round! Again Again Again!!

Delighted to say that for the last 4 weddings, 3 circuits and 1 location catering gig…there was ZERO (a big fat 0) plastic bottle waste! It hasn’t been easy, the challenges are very real but I feel it’s very important as an event company to keep finding solutions to the problem of plastic waste. The world is conditioned by cheap plastic easy solutions by billion $ drinks companies, which make it almost impossible to find other solutions. But you can….I haven’t done the count yet, but there’s a few thousand less plastic bottles in land fill now!

To eliminate or at the very least reduce the amount of plastic bottle waste at our events in the paddock. We install a filtered water system for table water, teas, coffees and water in cartons for water on the go. On a hot day like today, water consumption is a huge issue to manage with thirsty teams working in 30+ heat. Watch this fridge empty fast….and with no plastic waste!!!! This makes me happy!

The food for any event is the best part, for a wedding it’s the most important. Today was a great pleasure to spend some quality time with a couple we will have the honour to cater for next year. Tastings are a key part to getting the details right and understanding what people like to eat. That’s what we love doing…every…single…day 💥

On the Toast menu today. Mozzarella and heritage tomato bruschetta with fresh herbs(v)…homemade hummus with cumin roasted carrots (ve)….cured salmon with goats cheese mousse and spring onion with chives and micro herbs…roasted peppers and chorizo all served with side dishes , followed by cheese and desserts. A great brunch for the day after a wedding, fresh, healthy and tasty!

We do love a lunch, it’s nice to be invited to sit, relax, chat, drink wine and eat. It’s what we love doing the most and so delighted when the clients are more delighted than us. We have some very special clients who we work with year after year. That means a lot to me ❤️

Happy Earth Day. We are delighted to partner with SRO and the British GT for a program to make real changes in the paddock in 2022. Our founder was interviewed on how we have made real changes to our operations with a view to getting the paddocks plastic bottle free and moving towards a zero waste operation in our hospitality tents. This is a project in the UK we are very proud to be part of and as we continue to evolve and grow, we hope to share more news about this journey.
We would like to thank SRO for all their support and look forward to making a difference together.
