A recent educational trip to Nova Gorica, a town located in the beautiful vineyard region of Slovenia, was a delightful surprise with award-winning wineries, fantastic local produce and cuisine, and the most beautiful vineyards in the valleys. No wonder it is called Little Tuscany! A one hour drive from the capital Ljubljana takes you though the lush wooded countryside and into the hills of the wine region. Plenty of outdoor activities are on offer while you explore the region - from cycling in the Vipapva Valley, wine and olive oil tastings, jeep rides through the vineyards and olive groves and walking over highwires in the trees on the banks of the stunning Soca River. This is our latest destination we look forward to sharing it with you! !

In September 2018 a company incentive group came to help us create a more conducive learning environment for our children in Africa. They helped us rebuild the school kitchen, restore and plant the vegetable garden and so much more. After some fortunate summer rains here are the results. Photos before and after. We are so happy!
