We were promised a party, and I think it’s safe to say we got one during the Paris Olympics Game opening ceremony. It all started with an explosive beginning in blue, white and red as smoke resembling the French flag dispersed from the Pont d’Austerlitz. Paris was transformed into a gigantic theatre and show the world that we still have the most beautiful city in the world. Feeling proud to be French tonight!

A wild exotic and mysterious floral jungle explosion opposed to an elegant and bold table scape. Although we spend countless hours to select our product, colors and variety, the result is often altered by the lighting. I appreciate how this dimmed amber light reveal different perspectives of the arrangement. No much space left on the table, but that’s the point!

This welcome event in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat was delightful. The guests were invited to follow a subtle south of France chic dress code. On the night, they enjoyed some casino table, sushi station, blue accent flowers, beautiful dancer and meaningful speeches. Later at night, the rain didn’t stop anyone from having fun, and everyone ended up in the swimming pool

From the moment C&M hired me, they wanted to create something that hadn’t been done before at the villa ephrusis.
After many layout attempts, we decided to place the chairs upside down, facing the villa, which had never been done before surprisingly !

Wow, 2023 is almost coming to and end. Here are the 5 things I have learnt this year :

1. Planning the type of event we are displaying require an enormous amount of patience. You need to love people to keep going and never take anything personnally.

2. The success of an event not only depends on us, but on the guests and the clients themselves. They must be willing to let go and enjoy themselves, and that’s something I can’t control in their behalf

3. There can be only one captain in the ship. As much as I appreciate collaboration and ideas from others, I want to direct and control the full production to execute it perfectly if i’m being hired to do so. If I don’t feel trusted, I would rather stepped out, and play a role of executant
4. A few years ago, I sued to brag about the budget we were working with. I realised that it is a lot classier to keep certains things private such as numbers. Beside the client, nobody really need to know how much those extravagant wedding cost. I am happy to be allowed to share what we do, without revealing too much yet
5. I’m very grateful toward my global Competition. We are only a handful of planner and designer in the world planning those incredible parties, and I believe we all challenges each other and secretly, admire each other. While this year 2023 was one of our best year ever, i’m still being challenged

Right time to reflect on this amazing 2023! I have always been a big fan of firework display and the majority of people I know love them too. They are so powerful and beautiful, illuminate the sky and give so much emotion with the right music. I always suggest to my client to conclude the night of their wedding festivities with a big firework display. We have partnered with for many years who is a genius at creating them.

A floral photocall is always a focal point in a room. I feel the luckiest in my work when client are giving me the full liberty to style their event without much restriction. Although the couple didn’t have any latin background, I thought it was perfect to break the ice on the welcome night to kick the festivités with a mexican caliente party!

This extravagant four days event birthday party took a different turn when guests discovered on the welcome night that they were invited to a secret wedding. To make it even more special, it was revealed by the fabulous kathbum during a private comedy show. Guest were indulged into a world of luxury where every single details has been crafted. Although we can’t share too much about this event, this can give you an idea of the magnitude
