Back when we founded Shift Radio, lots of global initiatives inspired us to shape Shift's DNA. Refuge Worldwide was one of them — always excited to explore community radio around the globe to bring back ideas home.

Our one-hour takeover is now available online, Pascale Project and I had a great time playing tracks from some of our favorite Canadian artists such as Gab Rei, Big Zen, CFCF Regularfantasy, Priori, Jex Opolis.

Resident Advisor is launching a global event series called RA Community Connections (RA CC) later this week and I’m honoured to have play a part in this event.

RA CC will spotlight and platform the work of local collectives, community spaces, record stores and radio stations. Coordinated and co-organized by RA’s Global Contributor Network, this series brings together the multitude of voices that shape the local electronic music communities.

To see Shift Radio recognized as a key part of Montreal’s music scene is magic, and the fact RA kicks off its global Community Connections series right here in Montreal with this event makes me really proud!

I’m excited to take you on this journey with me this as I will take over RA’s IG this Sunday 🫡💫🌼

The event series will spotlight and platform the work of local collectives, community spaces, record stores and radio stations.

EN: Since her arrival on Montreal's music scene in 2015, DJ Audrey Bélanger has aroused curiosity wherever she has gone. Her energy and passion have propelled her onto the stages of the trendiest festivals (Mural, Fashion & Design, Just for Laughs, Santa Teresa, etc.) and behind the decks of the city's most popular bars (Salon Daomé, Apt.200, Suwu, Datcha, Furco, Newspeak, etc). In the fall of 2019, she spent two months on the European continent where she played in major web radio stations such as Rinse FM (Paris), Radio Raheem (Milan), Hotel Radio Paris, Kiosk Radio (Brussels) and performed at events in Lugano, Berlin and Brussels.

FR: Depuis son arrivée sur la scène musicale montréalaise en 2015, la DJ Audrey Bélanger a su éveiller la curiosité partout où elle est passée. Son énergie et sa passion l’ont d’ailleurs propulsée sur les scènes des festivals les plus branchés (Mural, Mode & Design, Juste pour Rire, Santa Teresa, etc.) et derrière les platines des bars les plus populaires de la métropole (Salon Daomé, Apt.200, Suwu, Datcha, Furco, Newspeak, etc).
