After bashing my back at the end of last winter, I could barely walk. I spent all summer in physio and was convinced I wouldn't ever be getting back on my snowboard.

🔴 TRAVEL UPDATE: Because there’s never a dull moment where COVID is concerned (even on a Friday evening), the French government have tonight scrapped the testing requirements to enter the country for fully-vaccinated travellers.

This change comes into force at midnight tonight.

Note that in France, fully-vaccinated for the purposes of travel is defined as two vaccinations plus a booster jab within 9 months of your second jab for everyone aged 18 years and over.

Travellers aged up to 18 years continue to travel under the vaccination status of their accompanying parents or guardians, regardless of their vaccination status.

So, finally, you can now travel between the UK and France without any need to take a COVID test. HAPPY FRIDAY!

Winter is back and it was chiiiiiilly today. Brilliant to get up the hill with some blue skies and good buddies before heading back to the kitchen.

It's a beautiful day here in the Portes du Soleil ☀️❄️ Fresh snow, blue skies and great fun riding over in Champoussin... The joys of the PDS resort is that there is endless terrain to explore ⛷️🏂

I'd suggested it looked a bit brutal outside, perhaps we should have another tea and see how it looks later.

Ruthie is always right. It was nuts up there. So much snow. Even worth missing the bus and having to hotfoot it through town to get to the lifts.

Most of us only see the Portes du Soleil during the winter or summer seasons. If you are ever lucky enough to visit during autumn, you'll never forget it.
Take care if you're cycling, it's hard to keep your eyes on the road.
