Ombrar is a French and British young producer based in Wiltshire, England formed as a Sound engineer. He is driven by sound even more than music itself which has shaped a lot the way he produces music. Always on the move, his style became harder over the years, continuing his path towards a more violent, rough and unique sound. Passionate by all the different sound techniques and tools, he keeps e

xperimenting all the time, and his interest for guitars and field recordings, gives to his music a certain texture that is easily identified. His ever increasing experience in the sound domain has pushed him to develop a live on his modular system. He also co-founded his own record label “Black Silhouette Records” with his brother back in 2017. Deeply inspired by the eeriness and unknown of this world, he is always searching for atmospheres that will define his path.

We are very happy to unveil this improvised documentary that we made a couple weeks ago while In England. The idea came about randomly while walking through the forest.
The aim of this short documentary is for you to get to know a bit more about Black Silhouette records, what it means for us and where we want to go with it. Filmed in one day this video shows our honest and unprepared take on what making music and having a techno music label means to us.

Très heureux de dévoiler ce court documentaire filmé en 1 jour et réalisé dans la foulée quand est venu me rendre visite en Angleterre.
L'idée est partie d’une simple balade en forêt et ça donne ça : un docu expérimental qui présente notre label Black silhouette, qu’est-ce que ça représente pour nous et ce qu’on veut en faire par la suite. C’est une façon brute, honnête et pas préparée de parler de musique et du fait d’avoir un label techno aujourd’hui.

Live in the forest! 🦇🌳 A little glimpse of my live during the incredible setting of the multivitamines party this summer. And it’s a good example of what one my track can sound live! In that case with « In The Mud » released earlier this year on @skryptom_records. What I try to achieve with my live is really that good balance between familiarity of releases and known tracks with a fresh live sounds and arrangements.
