Cannes 2023
At the May December premiere, Natalie Portman, ambassador was wearing one of the most world famous gown. But actually, it was a copy , as a tribute to a legendary gown called the JUNON dress designed by Monsieur Christian Dior himself for his Haute Couture 1949 Autumn/Winter collection. The original is a part of ’ collection but I had the chance to see it in Paris in 2018 during the exhibition Christian Dior, Designer of Dreams. This ivory strapless evening gown was made of sequin embroidered tulle from the Embroidery House Rébé on a layered petticoat.
Some say Dior’s current creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri shouldn’t have recreated one of the most iconic gown that have ever been made in the entire history of fashion: calling it is a sacrilege. In my opinion, it was a good decision, preserving the original which is much too precious to be worn on the Red Carpet!

At in Paris , the collection “Untitled” from the Finnish designer who won both the Grand Prize and the Public Prize of the 2022 International Fashion Festival of Hyères was exhibited.

Some BDSM/’80s fetish-influenced, transparent knitted skirts, jumpsuits, and dresses hand-embroidered with crystals. It took weeks to Jenny to embroider this crystals on the mesh but the result is amazing! How inspiring for wedding gown! Swipe for details.

Aujourd’hui, mon cœur est lourd. Mon coin de paradis, mon refuge, mes souvenirs d’enfance part en fumée…
Et pourtant, jours et nuits des hommes et des femmes exemplaires risquent leur vie pour limiter les dégâts déjà considérables!!! Malgré les protections, ils sont brûlés sur les mains et les pieds.
Une pensée également pour tous les évacués qui partent sans savoir s’ils retrouveront leur maison ou pas…

November the 6th, City Hall of San Francisco, California, the artist and model married photographer .world in an amazing dress designed by .
The bride chose ‘s Creative Director because her beloved late grandmother was a huge fan of his designs for and Dior. Ivy first met him in Zoom during the pandemic, sent him mood boards and 2 fittings later… He explained: “The bottom layer is a full corset matched to Ivy’s skin tone with slightly padded hips to give that smaller waist, […] The second layer is a tulle dress cut on the bias. The third layer is a white tulle dress, which creates a kind of filtrage. And the final layer is a mirror fragment dress, which isn’t fitted but hangs like a tunic from the shoulders. […] A big percentage of the dress is real mirror, but because she had to walk in it, we created a substance that would evoke real mirror but weigh considerably less. […] The fragments are linked together with wire, like jewelry. Finally, we pulled beige bias-cut leather strings through the fragments to give the texture a cooler look”. Her 16 feet long veil took 200 hours to embroider with refined baby sequins representing flowers and a guitar in honor of her late father, John who was a guitarist. Her incredible headpiece was constructed from 3-D printed bottle fragments, which looked like real sand-blasted bottles that had washed up on shore but were actually super light. This crown took 80 hours to create! collaborated with to make her matched shoes.

On the 11th of September 2021, James Middleton finally married Alizée Thevenet, his French fiancée in Bormes-les-Mimosas, French Côte d’Azur. Originally planned in 2020 their big day was postponed twice due to the pandemic. The intimate ceremony (50 guests only) held at the French vineyard Chateau Leoube in front of 50 guests, including of course, Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge with their three children. The beautiful bride was wearing her hair half up secured in place with a short flowing veil. Her floor-length dress featured an off-the-shoulder neckline with beautiful brocade detail and a loose fit. But, what I love theMOST is that her dress was the very dress her mother-in-law Carole Middleton wore 41 years ago on her wedding day in 1980!!! The bride said: "It fitted me perfectly and was exactly what I wanted. It always troubled me that wedding dresses are only worn once so it was amazing to give such a beautiful dress a second lease of life." Brides, keep your gown, if not your daughter(s), your daughter-in-law(s) might wear it for their wedding!!! 👰🏼

Montecito, California, 2021/05/15, married , her fiancé on a very intimate at home wedding. She wore a custom lily white, silk charmeuse, empire-waist column gown with a sculpted neckline, an exposed bra-strap closure, and a VERY plunging back! Her polished half-up hair under a shoulder-length hand-pleated bubble veil with a sweet satin bow at the very top were inspired from Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face. made her elegant and timeless pearl and diamond earrings. We love this retro style SOOO MUCH!
