A beautiful soft colour palette for Caroline and Michael's wedding yesterday at Château Canet. A grounded arch with a view of the olive grove for the ceremony, simple round table decorations and a cascade bouquet for the gorgeous bride.

Beautiful Emily waiting to walk down the aisle to marry Olly, with her sisters and niece. Beautiful shades of lavender and lilac with lots of texture. Bud vases for the tables including several collected by Emily's lovely Mum and used for all three sisters' weddings...a new family tradition!

Kirsty wanted something a bit wild, a bit whimsical, not too contrived but seasonal and lightly coloured. I used sweet peas, orlaya, peonies, corncockle, poppy heads and snapdragons from the garden

Elegant simplicity for my gorgeous couple, Angeli and Seb yesterday at Villerambert... Gypsophlia, roses and other white flowers.

My custom made arch, used in two separate pieces and covered with gypsophila and flowers to join delicately in the middle.

Vases with gypsophila, roses and freesia for the tables.

A simple round bouquet finished with a ribbon and bow for beautiful Angeli to carry down the aisle.

Cool blues … Des tons rafraichissant pour une journée de canicule.

Le mariage de O et A ce samedi s’est déroulé au magnifique Château de la Baronnie. Un mariage signé .

C’est toujours un plaisir de retourner à ce lieu si accueillant grâce aux propriétaires charmants et de travailler à côté de Laurence, wedding planner extraordinaire.

Des couronnes de fleurs sur les tables des invités faites sur un base de sarments de vignes – en harmonie avec les noms des tables. Un chemin fleuri pour la table des mariés. Le tout coordonné avec les nappes et serviettes.

Two weddings this weekend with a different style of welcome board to the more common easel....and personally I like these so much more.

Being A frames they are more stable and far less likely to blow over (it was windy this weekend ).

However the biggest plus point for me is the box at the front. I can simply add jam jars as in the first one or tin cans as in the second, water and flowers. No need for complicated mechanics, floral foam or single use cable ties. Much more sustainable. Added bonus...you can give the jars of flowers away easily afterwards!

27 years ago today I got married. It was a simple wedding. My dress and veil were home made, we had a marquee at a local venue ( - the first I think they'd ever had); a buffet and Cornish pasties as a late night snack.

The ladies of the church did the flowers for the ceremony. I don't remember having a lot of choice apart from a vague colour scheme. There were quite a lot of flowers that weren't really my favourites and there was certainly some floral foam used. We did have an arch though.

My lovely mum made my bouquet. A simple bunch of sweetpeas. She'd hoped to grow them herself but she fell down the stairs at new year and broke both legs (chemotherapy had made her bones brittle). She was still on crutches in June. (Hidden in photographs - she had standards.!!).

The sweetpeas were tied with a simple ribbon and placed in an antique posy holder ..Mum surprised me with this on the morning of the wedding. ❤️. It was the something old (blue toenails covered another item on the list)!

Before anyone says anything...I know there isn't a picture of my husband...he hates social media so I've spared him!

I love Spring ... Everything coming into bud, the bright green of new leaves and yellow daffodils. As a general rule yellow is not my favourite colour but I do love daffodils...even the simple all yellow ones but particularly the fancy ones.

A blue and yellow colour scheme for Jessica and Galin's June wedding at Château Canet.

Delicate little flowers plus peonies and one of the first dahlias of the season went into the bridal bouquet.

The colours looked stunning on the wooden tables in the courtyard.
