Summer is coming! And so is our brilliant team of Summer Sessions tutors!
Our next introduction you might recognise from our pantos - Sarah Ord!

Sarah is a Drama facilitator, performer and theatre maker with a passion for inspiring and empowering young people through creativity. She will be leading our sessions for 3 & 4 year olds and loves nothing more than delivering workshops where the young people discover the magic and wonder in ordinary things!.

Her workshops will be very sensory based with lots of objects and materials to explore and play with. Every session will be a different adventure full of Imaginary play, storytelling and music!

We’re looking forward to a Summer of Creativity! And we’re delighted to introduce another of our brilliant Summer Sessions team, Angela Thouless also known as one of the Graffiti Grannies!

Angela is a Scottish artist and designer who has had work exhibited all over the world! Angela will be inspired by the sea and during the week will help you create 3D Boats and Sailing Ships and a mini beach scene! We can’t wait!

We are collecting memories from people who remember ‘70s Aberdeen for a new play by award-winning playwright Morna Young — the recipient of a Scottish Society of Playwrights SSP@50 Fellowship, who has partnered up with Aberdeen Arts Centre on this project.

There will be a drop-in memories session on Thursday 6th June (1pm-4pm), where people can call in for a blether with Morna Young and AAC Director Amy Liptrott.
