Burns Night 2025 Wine and Scottish Tapas

In collaboration with to deliver a 6 course Burns Night themed Scottish Tapas evening paired with specialty wines by Anna Ferrier

Course 1 - Scotch Broth

Course 2 - Scottish Smoked Salmon with Dill + Lemon Cream Cheese, Cucumber on baguette

Course 3 - Turnip Batons with Garlic Tenderstem Broccoli, Pan-fried Black Puddings and drizzled with Hot Honey

Course 4 - Haggis topped Chicken Breast with Mashed Potato and Peppercorn Sauce

Course 5 - Scottish Local Cheese with Oatcakes and Onion Chutney

Course 6 - Sticky Toffee Pudding with Madagascan Vanilla Custard

Last event of 2024. Canapes and drinks service for over 65 guests at a festive do in a client’s offices.

A lovely way to end the year that has seen us support 14 new clients on a recurring basis with a 100% increase in the no of events events covered from breakfast pastries, bacon rolls and coffees to staffed champagne, drinks and food receptions.

It’s been fantastic building trust through delivery by an amazing team.

Common Sense Catering is now delivering breakfast by e-cargo bike. Thank you . Everyone wanted a shot but we cannot get John off the bike🚵‍♂️

Today's delivery was breakfast for 18 including bacon rolls, pastries and fruit platter delivered by our e-cargo bike, to Global E&C. Feedback - 'It was all great thank you – everyone really pleased with it. I hope you enjoyed your cycle back in the sun!' Yes, John did 😀

Also isn't Common Sense Coffee House and Bar looking lovely in the sunshine, also open for your morning coffee and croissant or buttery from 08:45, Monday to Friday.

A tasting night of Greek dishes partnered with amazing wine and tasting chat/notes at an event through Anna .

The menu was:
Greek Marinated Olives with Hummus and Pita Bread
Halloumi and Cherry Tomato Skewers
Greek Salad with Feta
Keftedes Arni – Lamb and Mint Meatballs with Tzatziki
Spanakopita – Feta, Spinach and Dill Phyllo Pastry Pie
Loukomadies – Greek Doughnut with Honey Orange Glaze

Great fun, with lots of chat and laughs. Everyone loved the wine choices 🥂🍷and tasty food 🥙🥗😋

We cannot wait for the next one, but which country should we go to next - Lebanon or Italy🤔

They were a big hit at an event this month, where 80 went as quick as they were laid out 🍚😋

- selection of 3 x cheeses, 4 x crackers and 2 x chutneys
- 4 x sandwiches (egg mayo, ham salad, salmon cream cheese and pesto caprese
- Mediterranean vegetable skewers and Pigs in Blankets
- Seasonal fruits (grapes, berries and stone fruit)
- Coffee sponge, lemon cake and cinnamon rolls
- Gluten and seed oil free chicken salad
