Sitting with a glass of red playing dot to dot with my midge bites, yes West Coast 1, Emma 0, I reflect on what has been a truly amazing holiday.

I was scunnered at the back end of last week, but slow mornings, adventures on CalMac and some good food have me ready to fire into this summer's weddings and go stir crazy amongst 1000s of stems of flowers!

I do so wish though that I could bring back some of the calm energy, and hope the reduction in hours at my other job that starts in July will help 🙏

I will get through emails over the next couple of days, as well as some appointments and prepping buckets for our next intake next week 🌸

Joanne first got in touch 2 years before her big day, and it certainly flew in!
The brief was cream and champagne to compliment her bridesmaids who were in a dusky pink/mocha colour.
I was excited to see what flowers I could create with this different take on a fairly neutral palette.

We also got let loose on some focal points around the gorgeous Aswanley Wedding Venue

This was a table runner display that I had out over the weekend, it is perfect for signing tables, top tables and trestle guest tables, and can be used in multiples or with bud vases and candles for a more dynamic display.

It also looks quite nice on my doorstep 💛💙

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make our Open Day a success today, to the couples who came to chat about their day, or long term friends of the business, your kindness is very much appreciated.

Having spent all too many long Sunday afternoons at wedding fairs, I wasn't sure what to expect today, but it is testament to me writing this post now that there was a constant stream throughout the day and I look forward to the appointments in the weeks to follow.

Thanks also for the gifts and cards for moving into our new HQ, I am humbled 🥲 and will most definitely be getting off the wagon in the coming hours 🤣
