Most of the time, when I speak to couples, they say they don't really know much about flowers, and honestly, that's fine. That's what I'm here for! But then occasionally you'll get a couple who are genuinely into flowers, like your work for months before their big day, and message you saying how excited they are to see their flowers. Yep, that's these guys! A delight to work with and sending you so much love for your future together.

You've seen archways, whisky barrels, urns, and more for altar style backdrops for you to get married in front of, but how about asymmetric frame plinths?

By stacking gold plinths we were then able to add flowers in a flowing fashion up from the ground to the top, and they look equally at home in the grandeur of the library at as they do in the modern

White with blue and pale pink was the palette, and it was lovely to hear how the snapdragons in the bridal bouquet reminded Kim of her family home 💗

Using the outside arch, we added our freestanding pillars to create a beautiful, full effect.

The weather played its part, which meant that the couple were able to marry outside, but the flexibility of the pillars meant we had a backup plan for a focal piece if it had been wet.

Down from Shetland to celebrate their wedding at

I really enjoyed this brief of champagne, muted pink and a touch of white and cream.

The decor was a superb DIY job, with small handmade wooden crates for flowers to sit in down the aisle and then as centrepieces (great repurposing hack) and some around the arch, that the couple heroically made and brought down on the boat!

Lovely to work with such a nice couple, all the best for your future together.

Out and about this weekend I couldn't help but notice the crocosmia starting to pop through contrasting so beautifully against the seas of blue hydrangea. So when I got some orders for everyday flowers I was all over this palette.

P.s. this would make an EPIC wedding theme! Just saying...

2021 HIGHLIGHTS // THE BEST BITS Here's a small selection of some of my favourite moments of 2021. In chronological order it starts with mainly homegrown flowers and bouquets thanks to C-19, moving on to the many weddings I have had the absolute privilege of being part of.
