Ross Priory is a beautiful estate on the south east shores of Loch Lomond, yet only 40 minutes from Glasgow. It was purchased in 1971 by the University of Strathclyde as an education and recreational centre and now operates as a members' club and a venue for weddings, conferences, seminars and retreats as well as for smaller bed & breakfast bookings or meals from lunch or afternoon tea to dinners and family functions.
Hosting a function or attending one? We recently introduced individual bottles of NoZecco as an alcohol-free alternative to Prosecco and it's proved a big hit, so we've now added Gordon's 0.0% vol gin and pink gin for those who still fancy the taste without the drawbacks. We also offer Heineken alcohol free lager and of course, a range of soft drinks.
Remember it’s the Open Day for the Scotland’s Gardens Scheme this coming Sunday. We look forward to seeing members and visitors alike.

The golf course is drying out and taking shape nicely for the season ahead. Please continue to use Master Scoreboard to book your tee times and check the recorded message on 01389 830733 if you have any doubt about the condition of the course.

A date for your diary: Ross Priory is hosting its annual Garden Open Day as part of the Scotland’s Gardens Scheme on Sunday 19th May
Event commences 2.00pm with tea/coffee stall and plant stall in the walled garden.
Visitors to the gardens will be asked to pay on entrance (all donations to charity).
£5.00 per adult, children free.

We were lucky to have a visit from the Northern Lights last night at Loch Lomond. Just an iPhone snap but they were strong and visible to the naked eye.

Today is our last day of bookings before the holidays. The house will be closed from tomorrow and will remain closed throughout the festive season, reopening on Wednesday 10th January 2024. Our team looks forward to extending a warm welcome to all our members and guests in 2024.

Please be aware that for reasons of the severe weather warning for very strong winds, the gardens and golf course at Ross Priory will be closed today, Thursday 21st December 2023. The gardens and golf course will reopen tomorrow, Friday. If in any doubt, anyone booked to play golf or looking to play should please call the 01389 830733 (recorded message) for updates on status before making the journey.
