Our Puddings were first estsblished over 60 years ago in a chip shop in Packmoor, Stoke-on-Trent by a man named Steve Brockley. Our special puddings are individually hand made using the finest locally sourced produce.

I know what you’re all thinking.

“It’s so hard to buy a dress online, why would anyone buy a dress they’ve never seen? “

***So why should you choose Serendipity Bridal?

I work hard to make every customer know that I appreciate them and still try to give them the best bridal experience I can, but of course, it’s still very different to trying and buying from a boutique. I photograph, video and hand measure every dress I sell, to give the best representation of the dress possible. A lot of my brides have said that the dress is even more beautiful in person.

In the last 5 years, I have sold over 1700 dresses, I have all 5 star reviews. I pride myself in being honest and genuinely trying to help everybody.

At any time I usually have about 350 dresses in stock, meaning there’s always plenty of choice. Most are around a third of the original price or less, which means huge savings. And we all know how important every penny is when trying to pay for a wedding!
But stock moves quickly. I sell between 20-30 dresses a month, so if you see something you like, please don’t delay.

***How do you choose a dress from Serendipity Bridal?

Some clients send me a photo of a dress that they have tried on, and ask if I have anything similar.

Some clients have seen a photograph of a dress they have never seen but have fallen in love with.

Some ladies honestly don’t know!

My advice is to firstly go and try on as many dresses as you like. Work out what styles you like on yourself. Everybody is different and it’s not just about how a dress makes you look, it’s how it makes you feel.

Wedding dresses have such an unusual fit, they are cut very differently and have little or no stretch, unlike high street clothes, so sizes vary massively. Every bridal designer uses their own size chart so the same dress size from different designers will all measure very differently.
Most ladies are a mix of sizes, so you would always buy to fit the largest measurement needed and have the other areas made smaller by a seamstress. Most gowns can be reduced up to the equivalent of 2 sizes.
I personally measure each dress by hand and state the uk high street sizing by which the dress measurements suggest, (based on the ASOS size chart) this may be different from the tag size so don’t be alarmed if there’s a different tag size in the dress you receive!
Most wedding dress sizings do not match high street clothing sizing, which is why it’s more accurate to go by the measurements, and check your own.

It can be quite a shock when I suggest what size to consider based on the measurements you send, but all we both want is for you to buy a dress that will fit. Im not trying to offend, I’ve done this many times and am just trying to help.
I will then send you photos of all the options, and if you see any that you like, I can send videos too.

***How do you buy a dress?

Once you see a dress you like, we organise how you would like to pay. I can accept PayPal goods and services, or a bank transfer if you prefer.

If you wish to collect the dress, payment is only by cash, bank transfer or paypal friends and family, given the difference in Paypal protection cover for collected items.

All dresses can be reserved by a £50 NON REFUNDABLE deposit. The remainder of the balance must be paid within 28 days, before the dress will be sent out to you. Payment plans can be arranged, to a maximum of 6 months based on the dress, which must be arranged at the time of purchase.

*****How is your dress sent to you?

Once your balance has been paid, your dress will be packed in a protective garment bag, and sealed inside a waterproof parcel bag. I did use cardboard boxes, but found that they are more at risk of getting damaged by water during transit.
Your parcel is fully insured and tracked, and most are sent by Royal Mail next day special delivery.
When your dress arrives, simply hang it up in a steamy bathroom to remove any creases from its journey.

I love to make people smile, and it absolutely makes my day when I receive photos from brides.
It warms my heart every time a past customer tags my page in a wanted post that they have seen on a bridal page, or comments that they recommend me.
It must mean that I’m doing something right 🙂
