There are so many people to thank for the most wonderful and blessed Christmas Day Comminity Lunch. We have had widespread support in contributions and time and we thank each and every one.

Our biggest thank you goes to everyone who came and enjoyed the day, we had so many messages and thank yous from people saying how we made their Christmas, but the truth is you made ours. It was a joy to spend the day with you and serve you.

Students from Alvechurch Middle School were busy crafting before they broke up for the festive break and have kindly made some crafted Christmas cards for our Christmas Day Community lunch - these were given out today and made our Christmas Day Community lunch even more special 🎄

Tomorrow we are holding Nine Lessons and Carols at St Leonard's Church Beoley.

Nine Lessons and Carols, also known as the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols and Service of Nine Lessons and Carols, is a service of Christian worship traditionally celebrated on or near Christmas Eve in England. The story of the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus is told in nine short Bible readings or lessons from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns and choir anthems.

This Sunday we have our Café Church Christingle, where we offer breakfast pastries, tea and coffee followed by a joyful celebration to share the light of Jesus and spread a message of hope.

Our Morning Worship service will be held at 11.15am.

Then at 6pm we have a service Christmas without Tinsel. This service is for anyone who may struggle with winter and the busyness of Christmas and who would like some quiet and reflective space to spend time with God.

Our doors will be open and will welcome you all!
