Each year all of the artists go above and beyond to make their display look absolutely fantastic! And as a little thank you ,we love to award the best dressed stand in keeping with the theme! Last year’s Christmas theme was swan lake and scooping up the awards were and 🙌 you’ll be pleased to hear that you can find both of these wonderful artists again this year at the show. 😍

Tomorrow we welcome this years artists to set up inside the hall, and we can’t wait to see what they have come up with for this years theme 🤗 🎄

Well folks we’re so excited to be saying this!!… it’s this week that we open the doors for our annual Christmas celebrations and it’s going to be glorious 🙌 😍🤗 Are you ready?

The hall has been decorated with a new theme for this year, the outdoor marquees are going up today, the artists are arriving Wednesday & Thursday… all we need is you!!

I can’t quite believe that we’re saying this, but this weekend we have been getting the hall ready for our wonderful Christmas event

We have a new theme for this year and we can’t wait to share it with you and welcome you all next week! 👏

The rumours that you are hearing about this show are true!! It is one of the best in the area and quite possibly further a field too!

7th-9th & 14th-16th November 2025
10am-4pm

Each year we receive hundreds of applications from artists wishing to take part in this show which is lovely to hear, the difficult part is to then choose the finest artisans & makers from across the country that deliver quality handmade pieces, for you to discover & enjoy!

We can assure you that the name on the application form is the artist that you will see, and is the artist that has made the piece themselves! You will be pleased to know we do not welcome any bought in items at any of our events, that you often see at many markets!

The show will take place in the grounds of the hall and also in many of the beautifully decorated rooms inside this stunning Georgian Mansion (usually closed to the general public) making it an extra special treat to have a little nosey inside this private family home!

There will be plenty of safe, on site parking meaning that you can relax and enjoy the whole day without any time restrictions on your visit!

We are also pleased to let you know that the event is on flat, hard standing surfaces outdoors making it accessible for all (including dogs,outdoors ) There is a ramp for wheelchair users to access the hall and the majority of the rooms inside.

We advise to pre book your ticket to avoid disappointment as we can only allow walk in’s on the day if numbers allow.

One week today and we will be getting ready for what you could say a busy month ahead!! 👏

But before Leigh & I enter the craziness of it all, we have managed to sneak a cheeky 2 night break to recharge the batteries, & celebrate our anniversary in the lakes, to the place where we got married. ♥️💙

We’re so excited for the upcoming events and can’t wait for you to meet all of the fantastic artisans & makers that will be joining us over the two weekends at Staunton Harold Hall, The line up for this year is incredible!👌

A question we get asked a lot!!

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted inside the hall or

However there is plenty going on & things to see in the outdoor areas, and they are most welcome to join you!

If you do decide to bring your dog, please can we remind you to clean up after them using the bins provided.

Is it just me… but where has October gone? It’s flown by!!

Well as we’re near the end of the month we wanted to remind you of two great events on the way next month!

Staunton Harold will be running over two weekends this year 7th-9th & 14th-16th November. If you are planning on visiting it is advisable to book in advance as tickets are selling quickly, particularly the Friday & Saturday both weekends!

The following week 21st-23rd November we will be returning to for a shopping spectacular! The hall is only usually open to the public a couple of times a month and incurs a charge. But for this special occasion it is included in your ticket fee of just £5! You’d be mad to miss it!

Two great shows, two very different venues. But a couple of things in common, that we can guarantee is everything is handmade and you won’t find repetitive stalls at either of these events! 🙌

At the beginning of the month you may remember us announcing that we have a new venue on the way for 2026? Well… here it is!!

Introducing “Maxstoke Castle” 😍

Completed in 1345, Maxstoke Castle is one of the oldest privately owned and continuously inhabited Castles in England.
The Castle is a privately owned moated Castle dating from the 14th century, situated to the North of Maxstoke in Warwickshire, England.
The public appetite for visiting Maxstoke Castle is increasing with more people discovering this hidden gem every year. Their annual charity open day consistently reaches its 2000 threshold selling out comfortably weeks in advance.

We are delighted to have been invited to bring the Artisan show to this stunning home of the Fetherston-Dilke family next year!

The build up & hype associated with Christmas can be pretty stressful, and the thought of fighting your way through the busy shops this time of year is almost overwhelming for some!

Why not ditch those big brand names and give a little thought for handmade this year? Because let’s face it, year after year we all get sucked into buying for each other just for the sake of it, and to be honest how many pre packed gift sets from boots or fluffy slippers from Primark does one need?

There’s something really special about meeting the artist or maker of a piece that has caught your eye, and we have so many beautiful things for you to see, you will be spoilt for choice!!
