Hello 👋 just a little update from me! 😊 I hope you are all well and looking forward to Christmas 🎄⛄

Sorry it's been so long since I've been on here!! I'm not a Facebook user so don't come on here often, and with the season being closed for the Winter I've not thought to come on here much! But I thought I should share an update on what has been going on here at Red House Farm Flowers HQ! 😁

Lots and lots underway for 2025! It's going to be a fantastic year ahead, I can already feel it! The plant babies are growing away nicely in the greenhouse, poly tunnel and low tunnel 🌱 all ready to bloom into beautiful flowers for you all next season 🌸

The tulips are finally in the ground although I have been really hesitant this year because of the super mild weather! I'm crossing all of my fingers and toes 🤞 it has already been with it's challenges as some pesky mice nibbled their way through the box in our garage and had an all you can eat buffet on them when I was storing them 😭. So I did lose a fair few varieties unfortunately to them! 🐭 Never mind! Still plenty to be enjoyed this Spring 🌷😃

I've got lots of exciting things planned for 2025! For the first time ever I will be opening the flower farm gate to the public and will be hosting Pick Your Own events! So pleased stay tuned for that 🥰 I'm also looking at hosting my first workshops this year - lots of planning and preparation is required so more details will be shared on that in due course.

I hope you are all as excited as I am! So many beautiful flowers to be enjoyed next year. All grown lovingly by me from seed without the use of any chemicals, pesticides etc etc. Wildlife friendly and good for the planet, zero air miles and sustainable practices used. As always thank you so much for your support 🙏💓 it means the world! Your continued support helps this all to happen!

It saddens me slightly to say I've had to make the decision to close the season a month earlier than I did last year 🌸

With this recent cold spell it seems things are slowing down so much already and other than dahlias I have a very limited supply of blooms 😭💔

I know so many others who have also spoken of the challenges this year has thrown our way 🌧️🌬️🥶 let's hope 2025 is much kinder than this growing season has been! ☀️🌻

Despite the difficulties that have been thrown our way it has been another amazing year for Red House Farm Flowers and I'm absolutely blown away by your support 🙏💐 as each year passes the business seems to go from strength to strength and I'm super excited to see what next year brings. I already have so many amazing things lined up already which I'm soooooo excited to share with you all. Lots of changes to be made, learnings from the year just passed 🌱

But for now, it's time to get stuck in and get well underway with the preparations for 2025 which have already begun. I'm excited to swap my focus from bouquets back to seedlings and mud 😂 bet I won't be saying that in a few months time when my finger tips are frozen blocks of ice and I can't feel my nose 👃🤣🙈

Sorry for the lack of updates and posts on here this growing season! To be honest it's impossible to keep up with it all 😅🙈 As well as run the flower farm & the business solo... I do it all around our toddler (who is currently on summer holidays from nursery) as well as help navigate a full house and garden renovation 😆 to say I have my hands full is an understatement. It's been a funny old year this year. We've had such a slow start to the season with the constant wet and cold weather! It felt like everything too forever to truly get going. Only now does it feel like it's in full swing 🌸🫶 I can already feel Autumn looming around the corner! It won't be much longer before our season comes to an end, ready for all of the preparations to begin for 2025! Which by the way I am already super excited for!

I'm beyond grateful for all of the love and support I have received this year and it is super exciting to watch the business transform and grow as the years go by! Roll on 2025! I hate the wish the time away but I am soooo excited for everything that is to come! Watch this space 😆🌸🌹🌼💐

Good Morning everyone thank you so so much for all of your wonderful messages and comments. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to respond to you all individually there have been so many! My heart goes out to you all going through terrible times 😔💔 if time was infinite I'd love to gift you all flowers as a pick me up!! Unfortunately I could only choose one (maybe this can be something I can look to do in the future). I'm still yet to do my charity donation this year as well!

I have chosen a lady who recently had to say goodbye to her son 💔💔 something which no mother should ever have to do. It truly broke my heart and these flowers seem completely useless but it's the tiny things that can sometimes help a little bit 🌸

Free bouquet 💐

We've had a bit of a rubbish past week and a bit over here at Red House Farm after saying goodbye to our beloved family member Winston after 12.5 years 💔

I have a spare large bouquet from the left over flowers of my subscription flowers. If you drop me a message to say who you think deserves this bouquet who also has had a rubbish week, then I will hand deliver these to them tomorrow along with my subscription flowers deliveries. I know it isn't much but sometimes the small act of kindness can mean so much when someone is experiencing something difficult 💖💐 these will be gift wrapped 🌸✨

Please note I'm offering this for Ashford only and they must be in to receive the flowers as unfortunately I don't have time to redeliver etc... collection can also be an option.

The field is starting to show an abundance of colour now ... FINALLY! It feels like the slowest (and wettest) start to the season! We've not really had much sunshine this year! 😕 It seems to have forgotten about us all! ☀️

The first of the FFF for 2024 are here!!!! Grab them quick before they go! First come first serve, once they are gone they are gone! I've only managed to make X4 bouquets today as I have to be mindful of my other commitments💐🌸✨ I have all of my subscription flowers next week and another fabulous wedding to cut for 😍 so grateful!!

As I no longer work for free these will be £15 each which is still a huge discount on my gift bouquets!! Collection only.

Unfortunately FFF will not be a regular occurrence due to the increased demand! I no longer have many "spare" flowers. They will now be a once in a blue moon and I cannot guarantee when the next one will be. So grab yourself a bargain whilst you can! I'm so sorry I couldn't make more!
