On December 3rd, I had the privilege of leading the service for Ann Johnson.
While her relationships with family were not without their complexities, the service provided a poignant opportunity for her loved ones to bid her a final farewell and reflect on a life well lived.
May she rest in eternal peace.

🎄 Supporting Local Families This Christmas 🎄

Bowley & Sons Funeral Directors and Margaret’s Celebrant page are coming together to help our local community this holiday season.

We’re setting up a Christmas Food Donation Drop-Off Point at Bowley and Son’s Funeral Home and would love your help. If you can spare any non-perishable food items, your generosity could make a big difference to families in need this Christmas.

On Sunday, 22nd December at 6pm, we’ll also be hosting a Memorial Service at Bowley and Son’s Funeral Home for families who’ve lost loved ones, providing a space for remembrance and reflection during the festive season.

An important documentary aired on ITV on Thursday evening called ‘Keeping Care Alive: Hospices in Crisis?’

The 30-minute programme raised a range of thought-provoking points about the sector as a whole and the challenges it faces.

The investigation was led by ITV News Investigations Editor Daniel Hewitt, whose mum received end-of-life care at a hospice.
