Throw back to our first wedding and branding shoot 😅.

This was my first full wedding service, my team and I served a range of delicious Canapes as well as our beautiful bespoke one metre charcuterie boards for the wedding breakfast and I also made a sponge cake, cupcakes, brownies and blondies 😅

It's was a crazy busy day with the most lovely couple. I felt honored that they trusted me with their day 💕

The colours, the smells. The happy customer 💕. My first grazing table back and it's gorgeous

A wide variety of cheese and cold cured meats, freshly baked cupcakes and donuts, sweets and biscuits.

Fruit platters, salad platters, soft cheese stuffed peppers, chicken salad, pizza, porkpies, sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, cocktails sausages, bread sticks crackers and sandwiches. These tables are the party's perfect crowd pleasers with a little bit of everything.

It's a girl.

I honestly felt honoured when Hannah asked me to do their gender reveal cake, it's lovely to follow the journey after I made their wedding cake last year.

A huge congratulations to Hannah and her husband on their little girl, I can't wait to make her first birthday cake 😅💞.

We are a Community Interest Company who provide Mental Health Education workshops to children, adolescents and adults. Our aim is to provide early intervention education, to help people gain the coping skills and understanding they will need to navigate difficulties when life becomes difficult.

We are holding the fundraising event on the 31st August 12pm-6pm at Old Saltleians Rugby Club in Water Orton. The event will be a family fun day and There will be various free activities for children of all ages, as well as some stalls where people can buy food, drink, gifts etc.

Throughout the day, Reclaiming Wellbeing will be running some mental health workshops for anyone to join and these will be educational, interactive and creative.

We will have a raffle and then at the end of the day we will do the raffle draw and livestream it on Instagram.

I'm wondering if any local businesses would like to get involved by donating a prize or having a stall

We have seen an immediate impact of the workshops with one young person coming to seek support, but they didn't feel confident enough to do this beforehand. From the session, they felt that they were more self-confident and understood the importance of asking for help.

I've made cakes for Natalie's children for the last three years. I love that she trusts me and her excitement over the finished cakes always makes it so much more enjoyable 💕. I hope Jake loved his cake

My first wedding back from maternity and isn't this semi naked cake just gorgeous.

The Bottom tier was a gorgeous, soft velvet sponge and vanilla buttercream requested by the bride.
Top tier was an all round favourite of Victoria sponge.

Our client said

'The cake went down very well!! Its was delicious 😋

Picking up the rest from the venue this morning - can't wait to eat more '

Hey lovelies, I'm just jumping on to say I have decided to CLOSE my diary for the foreseeable future until I decide what I want to do with the business going forward.

All bookings that are in will go ahead but I will not be taking anymore orders until further notice.

I know I have some people awaiting menus and quotes and I'm sorry but I will no longer be able to send them over.

Little Alba isnt gaining weight as she should and of course getting to the bottom of this is my top priority.

I'm so sorry to those that have been waiting it's been a really stressful couple of weeks 😅

Good morning lovelies.

I'm currently sat emptying my inbox 😅. I'm so sorry to anyone that's had a long wait but I am still on maternity and it's been two weeks of Easter madness and memory making.

I'll be sat with my diary tomorrow so you have an inquiry or would like to book in for cakes, bakes or catering then get your message over.

I have very limited availability for 2024/2025 and I honestly hate saying no but maternity has made me realize how much I miss my family time so I will not be working back to back bookings going forward.

So that's a wrap on Roots my lovelies, I'm officially on maternity. Whilst you may see me posting over the course of maternity to fulfill orders that were booked before my pregnancy. I'll be back working at full capacity from July 2024 - wedding season is already limited so if you would like to book in then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Please be aware that a lot will be changing on my return as I'm having a small business reset whilst I'm on maternity.

Our menus will be reinvented with fresh and unique ideas, pricing is going to be revised and I will be introducing a minimum spend across all services offered.

I'm hoping to focus mainly on creative cakes and weddings. I'll still be offering catering and bakes but with a new baby and a busy wedding season already in these offerings will be extremely limited.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping me get where I am today.

I'm honestly beyond excited to enjoy a Christmas with my family. Our last one as a three. Before we complete our family and say our vows ♥️
