My kids go back to school Wednesday so today we are in back to school prep mode!

Bella's eye test ✔️
Uniform washed & put away ✔️
School bottles - plan on doing them tonight (videos to follow) as my replacement machine has just been delivered! 🤩
Bella & Ellies hair cut - will be done at 3pm!

Bella has spent the last year growing her hair, it's so long! She decided she wanted to grow it out until the beginning of the school year to get it as long as possible so she could donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust 🥹

The Little Princess Trust requires a minimum of 12 inches of hair, Bellas is 15 inches! She was so amazed this morning when we measured her hair, she can't wait to visit our stylist Alex later.

Hello, everyone! Happy Tuesday! ✨

Taking a moment to share a bit more about the journey behind the scenes.

Believe it or not, this isn't my first rodeo! Before this, there was Signature Print Design, which you might still spot online. However, I'll be winding it down in the next few months.

Signature Print Design emerged when my eldest, Izabella, was just 6 months old. Struggling with the idea of going back to work while wanting to be there for her, I delved into the world of entrepreneurship. Thanks to the support of the Prince's Trust, Signature Print Design was born – and it felt fantastic!

The journey was peppered with moments to celebrate, including winning the 'Highly Commended Trader' award at the 2017 Manchester Youth Markets (will see if I can dig out the trophy). The momentum just kept building from there.

Enter 2018, and along came Ellie. A clingy baby meant temporarily closing the doors of Signature Print Design. When it was time to reopen, things didn't quite click. A series of challenges followed, including the unexpected loss of my mum in October 2021. Her passing hit me hard, and the pain still feels fresh.

Fast forward to today. I've taken a good look at the past and realised that focusing on weddings was where my heart and the bulk of my orders were. Hence, Signature Wedding Signs was brought into existence.

Kudos if you've stayed with me till here – I did ramble a bit! Now you're in the loop about the business journey. I can't wait to see where this adventure will take us!

Allow me to introduce myself: I'm Lauran, a proud mum of two. There's Izabella (in yellow), who's 7 years old, and Ellie (in grey), who is 4 years old. By day, I dive into the world of Digital Marketing as an Apprentice, working at a college. I must confess – I absolutely love every bit of it! And let's not forget the wonderful Steffan, we currently live together in South Yorkshire with our 2 cats, Loki & Skye.
