🎶 This is a PAID role and the Musical Director would be engaged on a self-employed basis
🎶 The successful Musical Director would be required to carry out rehearsals for two hours per week
🎶 Wednesday nights during term time 7.30-9.30pm

When Barnstaple Musical Comedy & Dramatic Society decided to find a home for their members, they discovered a place in Barnstaple that was just the right size. And they named it... ‘Centre Stage’!

It served perfectly as a venue to rehearse their musicals and plays and for may years housed their own stage school, dubbed ‘Centre Stage School’. Things have changed since then and now we see new faces using the space to train and learn, alongside other hirers who run exercise classes and music sessions.

We have also hired our small stage area to dance performers and drama, with our raked seating setup that sits around 120 people. The bar always goes down well then as well.

Centre Stage has also played host to several large parties, celebrating wedding anniversaries and birthdays alike - live music has proved no problem as the space and equipment.
