🌸✨ Stepping Outside My Comfort Zone! ✨🌸

At the start of the month, someone asked me if I did flower bouquets. Now, if you know me, you’ll know I’ve been talking about getting more confident with flowers for years! But I also knew it wouldn’t happen until someone actually asked… and guess what? Someone did!

So, Miya and I put on our creative hats, got to work, and here’s the result – a Stitch-themed bouquet that we are absolutely over the moon with! 💙🌺✨

We had the absolute pleasure of creating a stunning baby shower setup for a lovely couple recently! 💕💙 Our beautiful easel, dressed in pastel pink, blue, and pearl white, was the perfect centrepiece for their special celebration. Soft, elegant, and full of joy – just how a baby shower should be!

And here’s a little balloon magic for you… the helium balloons from the setup are STILL floating in our shop **8 days later**! 🎈🎈 Not bad considering we’re only *supposed* to promise 16 hours max! 😉

Helping you Celebrate for 36 Years

36 years ago, J S Cards was born, a tiny single stall selling buttons, cotton, needles, oh and greetings cards in plastic margarine tubs. My wonderful Nanna, now 99 years old and still going strong, looked after things on a temporary basis until my Dad worked out what to do with it ... Years later, the greetings cards took over. Dad and Nanna worked together to bring their loyal customers an exceptional service, and a vast array of beautiful cards (the margarine tubs are still useful!) Time has meant a few changes along the way, a stall expansion, new products, helium balloons and too many other things to mention.

Nanna officially retired, although she still to this day comes in to put us right and this year Dad decided it was his turn to take it easy, so he handed the reins over to me and so ‘For Any Occasion’ was born. We are determined to follow in the footsteps of my family by providing exceptional service to our loyal customers, but with great big plans for the future so you can celebrate in style with those you care about.
