Had a wonderful day Monday working at Barnardos Summer Party at Rodney Parade Newport!!

This balloon may look a bit strange but oh my gosh how much fun this was!! The kids was having fun trying to challenge me to something crazy...so they came up with the request...

A Penguin wearing a rubber duck hat and carrying a silver sword!

The smiles and laughter over this one was more than worth the sore fingers haha!

Penguin balloon even went and got his face painted after this...

Busy weekend this weekend!

Merthyr yesterday for balloons, and today for magic! Crosskeys with balloons, glitter tattoos and facepaints today and another facepaints in Cardiff! Tomorrow we have balloons and facepaints in pontyclun and Caerphilly!
Really getting about south wales this weekend!

DATES booking fast for summer and beyond. With October and December virtually fully booked. So it's never to early to secure those dates and book.. 🎈🎉🎉

Been so busy since summer kicked off that we totally forgot to post some pics from our recent balloon practice day!!

We regularly get together with others in the balloon industry to improve our skills and share our balloon knowledge with each other. So we can continue to provide you with fun and unique designs. This month's practice sessions saw.. frog's , sharks, teenage mutant turtles, tigers, birds and yoshi from Mario!

As always was an amazingly fun day and we learnt loads that we can now bring to your parties and events!!

We had the absolute pleasure of balloon modelling for this wonderful family last weekend at their sons amazing animal themed birthday party!

Monkeys, Giraffes, Ducks, Dogs, Lions, Tigers and even Crocodiles 🐊 we made them all!

We are passionate about training and development here at Brushes & Balloons!!

Thats why we as entertainers attend regular industry training days to improve our skill set and monthly balloon development workshops.

And we have recently completed a fabulous 8 Week business course at the amazing .

We truely want to provide you all with highest quality service as possible so we will continually expand our knowledge base and continue to work on improving our Art!

As part of the course we was required to 'Pitch' our business to the room. Here I discovered I am defintly at home and quite happy to be in front of 30/50/100 kids.. Dancing, doing magic and balloons than to simply speak for 3mins to a dozen adults 😂🤣 But we got through it with the wonderful support from all at Welsh Ice and even won an award for Peer Champion.

And Of course we had to take BALLOON BEN (Ben being our wonderful course coordinator) with us for some moral support. Balloon Ben has since been quite successful in securing his own desk 🤣 and now almost a week later is seen to be watching over all those busy working away in the office.

Thank you for an invaluable learning experience. It has truely helped us in so many ways. See you around the Colab in the not so distant future x Linda x

Ben (the real one not the balloon 🤣) was our wonderful course coordinator at a wonderful 8 weeks business course with Welsh ICE that we've just competed! On the final day we brought along his balloon counterpart to meet him! 🤣
