The world’s going a little crazy over Burlesque The Musical about to hit London’s West End very soon. And we are excited too! Who doesn’t love the movie?

But here’s the tea: there’s no burlesque in it.

If you’ve never seen a burlesque show before, that probably sounds really confusing. Yep, it’s been spinning our head since the movie came out why it was given that title.

Burlesque is actually a type of theatrical variety show, often featuring very comedic, provocative , and sometimes risqué performances. A burlesque artiste knows the art of st******se, and, very often, how to weave satire into a performance, too.

It’s fun. It’s empowering. It’s nothing like the movie with Christina and Cher.

We’re not saying don’t go see the West End Musical. We are planning on going ourselves. But we also invite you to check out an authentic burlesque show… with comedy, tease, and tassels that spin 360 degrees!

Our show headliners, and , are world class burlesque performers. Both have been consistently voted amongst the best in the world by 21st Century Burlesque magazine. Lilly SnatchDragon is also a Burlesque Hall of Fame winner ( if the burlesque industry had an Olympics, Burlesque Hall of Fame would be it!).
