Welcome to the world little Joshua ☺️

Born two weeks ago and I can proudly say that most of that time has been spent cosied up in bed enjoying all the newborn cuddles!

Big sister Emilia is loving having him around too 💞

As I’ll be kept busy over the next few months, I won’t be offering any balloons for the time being and I’ll be quiet on here but I’m looking forward to being back online soon 👍🏼

Thanks again for your patience and support.

In the meantime there is a little one that needs some more cuddles 🤗

Baby vs Balloons 🤔

With the imminent arrival of baby number 2, I’ve figured that my hands are going to be pretty busy for a little while…

Therefore I’m taking a break from balloons and will be back online soon. You’ll probably still find me scrolling and checking out all the local fab businesses and updates during those long nights ahead 👀

I’ll also still be here for any questions and enquiries 😊

40 40 40!

This weekend saw my husband turn the big 40 🎉 We all had such a fab time celebrating with yummy food, cocktails, cake and friends in our beautiful city 🥰

I’m happy to say that I managed to finish off his mosaics in time too ⏱ My husband had been away with work so I wanted him to have that wow factor when he stepped through the door - I’m glad to say that was achieved 😁

To make his birthday even more special, I ordered the most AMAZING and bespoke cake from the extremely talented .may 🤩 Check out his whisky sour themed cocktail cake➡️…and yes, even the cocktails are cakes! What an absolute cake making legend - thank you .may it made his day and absolutely took him by surprise 🌟

Merry Christmas!

I have been a bit quiet on here the last few weeks as I’ve been enjoying a welcomed early Christmas break 🎅🏼🎄

This year has been a whirlwind with starting up my small business and falling pregnant again - thank you to everyone who has supported me, it’s been a fab little journey so far ☺️

Being nearly 7 months pregnant has made building the mosaics somewhat tricky recently - hence reducing my output! However, there is a plan in the New Year for the balloon mosaics to be still available 🎈🌟🥳

BIRTHDAY MOSAIC NUMBERS

This popular colour combo (which I call mermaid theme 🧜🏻‍♀️), looked great on this customer’s breakfast bar. It’s full of pinks, turquoise and purples - all with a different finishes. This size (3’5ft) is great to have on the floor as well as on the counter / table.

These mosaics were loved by the birthday girl, especially as it was a surprise. 🤩💫✨

I’ve had a few enquiries for booking mosaics for next year so I’m currently looking at ways to make my mosaics more available once the new baby arrives. My thinking cap is well and truly on 🧢💭🤔🎈4️⃣

NEW ADDITION TO THE TEAM!

I’ve got some special news to share ✨

Some of my recent customers have noticed what looks like a balloon stuffed down my jumper - it isn’t!

I’m very happy to share that we are expecting a baby in early March 🤰🏻 We are thrilled and our little one is very excited already 🤪

I’ve been a bit quieter on here than usual….bending over building mosaics is proving to be a little difficult with a bump in the way!

I’m still offering balloons and mosaics at the moment but with limited availability - more information on this coming next week.

1ST BIRTHDAYS 🥳

I just love it when I get sent photographs of the birthday boy / girl enjoying their balloons -it makes my day 🎈🎈🎈

This gorgeous photo was sent to me by one of my lovely friends who wanted to celebrate her little boy turning one with a mosaic. The balloons were also very popular with her eldest too!

This 3’5ft mosaic is filled with bright rainbow colours, perfect for that first celebration 🌈 and perfect for a Monday morning too!

HELIUM BALLOONS

I’ve had a few orders for helium bunches recently and customers have commented on how easy it is to pick them up from me compared to parking in town. So I thought I’d do a shout out to the helium balloons 🎈🎈

✅ The balloons I use are made from 100% natural latex and contain no additives, fillers or plasticizers (which are normally used to reduce costs)
✅100% biodegradable
✅ I use a natural stone balloon weight
✅I use biodegradable paper raffia (ribbon)
✅Extended float time up to 4-5 days (sometimes longer!) compared to 12/24 hours
✅ I can take last minutes orders (mostly!)

BABY SHOWER BALLOONS

This weekend I had the pleasure of doing bunches of balloons for a gorgeous baby shower. I love that the colour theme was rose gold (s*x unknown!) as I had just received some lovely mirrored rose gold balloons 🎈🎈🎈

HAPPY PLACE

I’m loving seeing my social media feed full of pumpkins, autumnal leaves and family days out - it’s definitely my favourite time of year 🍁🍂🥾

It’s been quiet on the balloon front this week as I’ve got my lovely mother in law staying with me for the whole of half term ☺️. Our days have been filled with park trips, hot chocolates, crunching leaves and pumpkin carving (today’s task 🎃).

Balloons will be back on the agenda this weekend 🎈🎈🎈

HOORAY - 40! 🍾

This 40th mosaic is full of different coloured blues as well as metallic and mirrored silvers. Matching helium balloons were added as part of the package too 🎈🎈🎈

This photo shows the mosaic in place for the big birthday morning reveal 😲 This one was done a while back and I know the birthday boy loved it! 💙

I’m now thinking forward to my husband’s 40th birthday in a few months time - how am I going to get one of these together without him seeing it beforehand? 🤔🤣

I’ve also got my thinking cap on - how can I make it extra special?! 🌟🌟

LONGER FLOAT TIMES 🎈

Did you know that helium balloons float for approximately 12-24 hours? This float time can also reduce as a result of different conditions such as temperature and sunlight exposure.

However, I use a biodegradable gel inside my balloons that can extend the float time to 4-7 days - sometimes even longer! I’ve had balloons floating in my house for 2 weeks 🎈🎈

So if you are looking to have balloons ready for the big reveal on someone’s birthday morning or looking to use them over a few days, please get in contact 🙋🏻‍♀️

Guess what? There isn’t an additional charge for the extender gel! 🎈✅

BIRTHDAY BALLOONS 🎈

I recently had the privilege of doing balloons for the lovely Michelle at 🎈

Michelle wanted something extra special to celebrate Pop Up Play Village Bath’s 1st birthday and so a bright and beautiful rainbow mosaic was called for 🌈💫🥳

I took my daughter to one of the sessions back in April and she absolutely loved it - her favourite was playing with the hospital set up 🩺🏥 Swipe to see the cute set up ➡️

FRIDAY FEELING ☺️

It has been a busy week this end with balloons, keeping the toddler busy and random jobs around the house to do (which never seem to end!). So I’m taking a weekend off and am ready to chill, take it easy and get some fresh air. I might start by taking a stroll into town to see the snow and hope that I’ll bump into W***y Wonka this evening 🍫🌨🎬

MY FIRST MOSAIC 🎈

Looking back to when I saw the idea of balloon mosaics for the first time ⏳ I decided to watch a million YouTube videos and randomly attempted building my first one ✂️. My building skills have improved since this one but as a first attempt - not too bad?! Swipe to see ➡️

This prototype mosaic was given to a lovely lady who was asking about balloons on the wonderful Mums in Bath group. I contacted her and asked if she wanted to try out something called a mosaic (for free), in return for feedback 📣

Since then, I’ve built mosaics for every number in both the 3’5ft and 4’2ft size.

TWINS!

After a lovely few days away I have jumped straight back in to my first ever twins order 👯‍♀️

Happy 2nd Birthday 🎉

This weekend saw a little cutie turn 2 years old 🥳 Her mummy wanted to make her celebration extra special by ordering one of my balloon mosaics. She opted for pretty pastel colours which included satin and matte finishes. I love this combo 🌸🌼🌸

These mosaics are rented for up to 6 days and are made out of biodegradable material, meaning less waste to landfill ✅
