* CARNIVAL AND FETE UPDATE *
*Saturday Morning*

We are aware of the current Amber heat warning for Sussex. We want to reassure you that we have extensive risk assessments in place for the safety of everyone at the events we lay on.

We will continue to monitor the weather situation and update our assessments dynamically throughout today, the latest assesment led to some action, and therefore we have

* decided to hold the judging for the float procession after the procession to avoid people standing on the floats for any longer than necessary
* increased our bottled water supply three fold
* planned a “cool zone” shaded area
* added cooling tools to our first aid kit
* sourced more gazebos and shade around the site
* made the decision not to run the inflatable assault course
* provided large troughs and cooling stations for any any animals on site

We implore you to bring water, dress appropriately, bring umbrellas and regularly apply sun cream.
If you feel unwell please approach carnival staff (identifiable by high vis or green crew T-shirts)

We understand some hopeful participants in the dog show may not be able to participate due to the heat and we will continue to take advice from the vet with regards to that section of the event and the safety of our dog friends is paramount.

We are so very excited to bring you a tea tent, an art display, falconary, bunnies, carnival rides, a FLOAT PROCESSION, an event arena, glitter, games and so so so very much more - we can’t wait to see you all,

Pizza Leonati by Leonati Catering will be serving up fresh hot pizza at the first of our fete events Ninfilelds got talent 🍕🍕🍕

Our pizza truck has been serving up great pizzas for half a decade, and they’re even tastier now after our recent oven service. But that’s not all - we’ve expanded our menu with new foods, and with that, we’ve rebranded to **Leonati Catering**! A big thank you to Leo Ferenc for the stunning new design. Here’s to many more years of culinary delight! 🍽️🚚

CARNIVAL - CANCELLED???
BAND NIGHT - CANCELLED???
FETE - CANCELLED ???

TIME TO ACT!

Do you love the Village Carnival? Band Night? The Fete? The Halloween event? The Pram Race? The Parties? The Michaelmas Fayre? Then it’s time to take action. The Carnival Committee cannot continue to run these events without help.

We need pledges of help with the organising, and running of the Anniversary Summer Solstice Carnival Weekend or we may be cancelling it!

We will be holding a meeting at 7pm on the 4th of February at the Blacksmiths, and we encourage you to please come and pledge to save the Carnival, then a decision will be made about the future. Without your help it will unfortunately die off!!!
