What a week!
3 weddings and a VERY busy shop, but you know what I DID IT! 💚

In class, they completed these lovely masterpieces, and they are filling up The Token Tree 🌳 lovely.

I think I think a lot! Some good some bad!
Some of u may already know about this tree root, from County Hall that I have had my eye on as months! Yes, I'm weird like that!
Anyway..... a lovely couple brought me up last week, so nothing would do it. I had to get in my window. FYI, it is very heavy!
A good friend of mine asked me yesterday, "What do u see in that bit of wood?" I said, 'It's beautiful,' with a lot of potential. The next day, it looks like this. Like It's always been there and part of the shop.
So the lesson from this is that not everyone will see the potential in you or the beauty in you,they will see nothing, something that they will just walk past!but that's OK. Not everyone will want to work with you and help make you into something beautiful. Some may not even want to see u succeed and speak words that hurt and bring you down. But on like most trees, you, I, and this root can move away. We can move away from things that are trying to break us. It's very hard. I know it is, but you can!
Yes, you are a little broken, random, and very heavy to carry, but when you are looked after, and u find your purpose, u will stand out! And this piece definitely does, lol.
So today's lesson is to be a root, know your worth, and just because everyone can't see your true potential, doesn't mean it isn't there 💚
Oh, and yes! I had permission from C.H. to take it before anyone starts. 😛

Once upon a time, nearly 40 years ago. This man became a father to a daughter Pamela. Since then, that girl has done her dad's head in. She comes up with ideas, and he just does it.
I am forever grateful for him.

First Create & Cake class Conquered. 💚
We maybe had a fish tank burst 10 mins before it started, and wee pearl realised how sharp the scissors were, but I got to show off out my new first aid box, and no one needed frisked! 😀
Overall, it was a blast.
You should all be so proud of yourselves!
It filled my heart with joy seeing the final pieces and the smiles on your faces. Thank u all so much for coming.

My mummy always told me it was rude to pass judgment on someone's home! Well Marlene, I'm sorry but this house was something else 👌
I had the privilege of doing this ladies' wedding, and then, Her brief was bright and quirky, so today I got to put a little of that memory in her beautiful new home.
One lesson I was reminded of from this project is that life is short. No one knows what is around the corner, and true happiness can't be bought, and even though we are put through hard and trying times, we have to keep moving forward.
