Pretty Little Details... it's more than just our business name, it's our whole mantra.
When we started with wedding styling our number one priority was to provide more than just nice dècor hire. When you book with us you're hiring our ability to look at your space and visualise the theme throughout. It's our ability to see those empty window ledges that need a little something or a corner that looks bare. It's the little elements that you or your guests may not notice individually, but together they bring the whole setting together perfectly, creating that "wow factor" that makes your day unique to you both and when you look back at your photos you'll smile at all the little details you didn't fully notice.
It's a bride telling us her gran loved pearls and we add them through the setup or a groom telling us his mum's favourite colour and subtly incorporating it throughout. You're hiring our creativity and vision to see more than a basic centrepiece and use elements such as chair drape/bow design, charger plates, colour theme napkins, coloured ribbons, various size and style candles and holders and perfectly matched table linen to bring your setup from nice items in your chosen venue to a picture perfect setting that beautifully compliments your day ❤️

I'm back! 🙋‍♀️
After a week lying on a beach i'm back refreshed and ready to go 💃

💍 We're back to weddings from next weekend and other than a couple of free weekends in March and April we are pretty much full on with weddings until November which is amazing! We have lots of client consultations booked in and showroom viewings for new enquiries. As always we will accommodate viewings when we can. For our clients from September onwards that we've still to see, we'll be in touch soon!

‼️ Our next challenge is to get our showroom moved into our other unit- Due to storm damage to our current space we're moving across the road, a task we could do without but needs must!

⭐️ Next Sunday 23rd Feb we will have a large dècor showcase on display at Razzmatazz Wedding Exhibition at Westerwood Hotel and this will provide a great opportunity to see some of our stock for those who have been unable to attend our showroom yet. ⭐️ Showroom ⭐️

Just a little reminder that our showroom is not open for general walk ins, we work on an appointment basis for those interested in working with us to allow you to view some items in person if you wish before or after obtaining a quote. If we have general open days or days when the showroom is available for walks ins all day, we will post this across our social media (it will be pinned to the top of the page).

Our showroom is a working environment, we don't have "display only" stock which means when we have weddings we are constantly taking items in and out so the showroom isn't always in "show" condition, which is why you can't just pop in. We wouldn't be a very good wedding dècor company if the stock sat there and didn't move would we 😜 When we hit the summer months, appointments will be extremely limited.

When we take appointments, we work hard to make sure the showroom is pristine ready for viewings... we don't charge for this but we give up what's left of our already very limited time, we don't have a big team of staff available to assist, it's only the 2 of us so please do respect this and if you can no longer make your appointment we kindly ask that you let us know.

‼️ Showroom Announcement ‼️

For our upcoming appointments this month and possibly into next month- Incase of any confusion.
Our showroom is currently still in Unit 34 however on arrival you will also see our showroom signs up on the unit across from us and that's because due to the wonderful storm the other week, we're having to move to another unit due to roof damages. It's being repaired but we can't risk leaks! It's just as well we know how to turn a space around I swear 🙃
I've had a few confused faces standing in the carpark this week so just to clarify, we're in unit 34 for now and I'll update when we move across!

⭐️ In all seriousness, we were struggling to find the words to describe how proud we are after winning Best Venue Decor Supplier 2025 at on Monday night ⭐️

We aren't a big team... we're a father and daughter from Lanarkshire who's worked together for years and decided we fancied a new challenge, we entered into this industry less than 2 years ago with nothing more than my bright ideas and determination and my dad's support. Over the last 18 months PLD has became our life, mine in particular. We've sacrificed so much to give our all to our client's and we will continue to do so.

So about last night...

Still can't quite believe it. We have genuinely poured our hearts and souls into this business and creating something amazing and as much as we are about so much more than chasing awards... this one is special. To even be listed up there after our first year in business with some incredible industry legends let alone winning is just unreal.
To all of our 2024 couples who took a chance on us and liked who we were as a business when we had a very limited portfolio to show, this one is for you ❤️

Lisa & Stuart 25.01.25 Our first wedding of 2025 took us to another new venue, Secession in the west end of Glasgow which is the converted Landsdowne Church, a gorgeous historical building. The couple wanted a simple, understated ceremony with subtle pinks throughout. Lisa wanted a way to commemorate their loved ones no longer with them so we provided a beautiful blossom as a memorial tree for Lisa to hang baubles with photos of their loved ones to have them present with them in their ceremony ❤️ A beautiful touch, understated but still perfectly personal to them. Our final setup of 2024 took us to the wonderful Dalmeny Park House Hotel. We can't wait to show you more on that tomorrow but for now... From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our clients and all who have supported us throughout 2024. Our first year and we could not have asked for any better. ⭐️ 56 weddings and over 40 venues across central Scotland and beyond- Not including starting the year off with my own in January 🥰 ⭐️ 2 Awards won and finalists for another 2 ⭐️ Countless amazing suppliers and wedding teams worked with ⭐️ Added to recommended supplier lists at some incredible venues across Scotland ⭐️ 100s of couples met and booked in right through to 2027 18 months ago a lassy from Bellshill with an imagination and a pipe dream decided to start a new business venture and roped her poor old dad in to help. This time last year we'd just apprehensively opened our showroom and I was about to be a bride myself. A year later we've built something I'm insanely proud of.
