381. That's the number of Giti tyres I started with. I'm down to less than 100 now. Thank you to everyone who has bought a tyre from me. It was a little scary purchasing so many all at once not knowing how good or popular they might be, but they have far exceeded my expectations. I am personally using them on my MX-5 and am very impressed by their performance and durability. Friends that are using them are praising them highly too.

I am in conversation with Giti about trying to get some more and in other sizes too. The cost of new stock is likely to be more than what I’ve been selling them for. To be viable, the new stock will have to be priced at close to £100 each. I appreciate and acknowledge this is a significant increase. I think it’s still a competitive price compared to similar track tyres. In my opinion the Gitis offer superior performance and durability, therefore would still be better value.

Whilst I have so few tyres left, stock replenishment is uncertain and I want to understand if there is still demand at a higher price, the price per tyre is increasing to £80 per tyre.

For anyone that has already enquired or reserved some tyres, I will honour the original price.

My first open session track day in the Caterham (affectionately called Ollie’s Secret Seven) at Bedford Autodrome.

The new brake discs and pads were a noticeable improvement from its first test at Curborough.

It’s less than one month until our track day at Three Sisters 😁

Here’s a few reasons why you should consider an Ollie’s Secret Track Day at Three Sisters:

Two layouts (Perimeter in the morning and Full Circuit in the afternoon)

Three weeks have passed since I escaped the corporate life and they’ve not caught me yet 😁

We had lots of fun at MotoFest Coventry at the weekend with Loughborough Car Club Ltd.

I finished 2nd overall in the Autosolo on Saturday 🥈

And we had a fun day time keeping on the autotest on Sunday, which was a round of the national championship.
