We always say "what a fantastic night" because they have been, however this night was equally excellent in every way.
An absolutely packed house was treated to a wonderful opening set of Blues, Irish music and humour by the local legend Alfie Stockman.
This was followed by, in our opinion, the best Beatles tribute band in the land. Not only did they sound like The Beatles, their warmth of character shone through their fantastic performance.
We would like to thank our sound man Ben Martin for a superb sound, our volunteers who help make the night a success, those who kindly give us raffle prizes, our sponsor for the night Jenny Clarke, The Barrell Pub for supplying the bar and to all of our audience for their fabulous support.
Take a listen to this!

The Swamp Doggs Perform at The Processed Pea at Home
Massive apologies to The Swamp Doggs for the delay in posting this video from them. We had hoped to post it in December, but better late.....
We know you'll love the video as we know you love this fun, energetic, breath of fresh air of a band, who have fast become one of our favourite bands. In their own words......
What can I say, The Swamp Doggs made their first appearance at the “Processed pea” back in early March, we were quite nervous that night knowing which acts had played in the past, all very talented singer songwriters, and then we were asked to play the “Pea”!! we struggle to write a list for a Pizza takeaway let alone any songs…… but, we had a ball of a time, and by the response you gave us you did too. Thank you!
The band was initially formed in 2016 based on an idea of Sean our singers late brother Tony who wanted to put a slant on rock and pop standards from the 60’s to the present day, initially called the “Frogg Brothers” they won the Hull Daily Mail “Battle of the Bands” competition in 2017. The current line up has been together since 2019.
Due to the Covid pandemic 2020 was difficult for us even to get together, however, we did manage a private gathering in late summer following a last minute cancellation of a booking due to the Covid rules we decided to set up anyway and play a free social media concert, from which we have 2 tracks for you now…..
Lets hope live music will return soon,,,, in the meantime, here’s wishing you all the best, Stay Safe…
