I’ve gained lots of new followers over the holidays so I thought I’d pop on and do a little re-introduction!

I’m so thrilled you’re here, especially after such a magical Christmas season! Whether you’re newly engaged (congratulations!) or simply dreaming about your big day, welcome to my little corner of the wedding world.

I’m Jess, a UK-based Wedding Planner and Coordinator. I am also a mum to three wonderful children, who definitely keep me on my toes! And I love nothing more than curling up with a good book, when I get the chance (book recommendations are always welcome here!)

I have a huge passion for creating down to earth, stress-free, and joy-filled weddings. My goal? To make sure your wedding planning feels as exciting as saying “yes!” and to ensure you’re fully present when the big day arrives.

Planning your wedding should be fun, not overwhelming and that’s where I come in. I’m here to reduce the stress, guide you along the journey, and bring your unique love story to life in a way that feels totally you. Did you get engaged over the holidays? Congratulations!! 🥂

First, take a deep breath and soak in this incredible moment! You’re engaged - how exciting is that? This season is all about celebrating love, connection, and the beginning of an amazing new chapter.

There’s no right or wrong way to approach being engaged but as someone who’s been part of so many love stories, here are four tips I highly recommend before you dive head first into wedding planning..

Celebrate the moment
Take time to truly enjoy and embrace this milestone. Whether it’s a cozy night in with your partner or a big celebration with loved ones, savor this sweet season before diving into the details.

Start dreaming
Spend time talking with your partner about your dream wedding. Think about what you BOTH envision - whether it’s an intimate gathering or a grand celebration and start to align on the vibe you’d love for your big day.

Set your priorities
Before getting swept up in Pinterest boards and endless to-do lists, decide what matters most. Is it a beautiful venue, an unforgettable meal, or amazing entertainment? Knowing your priorities will guide every step of planning.

Enjoy being engaged
This stage of life only happens once, please don’t rush past it. Take engagement photos, say “fiancé” a million times, and cherish the joy of this chapter. There’s plenty of time for planning later.

When you’re ready to start bringing your vision to life, I’d love to be part of your journey. Together, we’ll create a wedding that feels uniquely you.

✨ Happy New Year! ✨

As we step into 2025, I just want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me and my business this past year. My amazing 2024 couples – working with you this year has been so rewarding. You’ve given me the confidence to turn my dream into reality, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your trust and support.

Starting this business just a couple of months ago has been an absolute dream come true, and I’ve been truly overwhelmed by the love, support, and bookings that have come my way already!

To my 2025 couples – I can’t wait to be a part of your incredible celebrations this year! Your trust means the world to me, and I’m so excited to bring your wedding dreams to life.

It might sound crazy, but one of the biggest regrets couples share after their wedding is, “We barely spent any time together!”

It’s so easy to get caught up chatting with guests, catching up with family, or thinking, “Oh, I need to speak to…” Of course, it’s lovely to greet everyone and share moments with them, but often couples find themselves apart for so much of the day.

And by the end or even the next day, you might be saying to each other, “We had a lovely day but I hardly saw you!”

Your wedding day is all about you two. It’s your love and connection that’s brought everyone together, so take a moment to really soak that in.

I’ll always encourage you to sneak away for five minutes after the ceremony, while we’re organising your guests for confetti. Take a breather, have that “we did it!” moment, and just enjoy being together.

Grab those little moments for just the two of you when you can, they’ll be some of your favourites 💕

DO. THE. DAMN. CONFETTI. TUNNEL.

You and your partner, just married, walking through a sea of colorful confetti surrounded by your loved ones - pure magic! It’s not just a photo op (though, hello, it’s an amazing one); it’s a moment of love, laughter and celebration.

Plus, they’re a fun way to get everyone involved. Bonus: biodegradable confetti means you can keep it eco-friendly too!

My TOP tips for nailing the confetti shot:

1. ENJOY IT - having something thrown at you seems weird right? But you have to embrace it to get the most out of the shot! Keep looking up and smiling - Confetti WILL hit you in the face, go in your mouth and down your cleavage... and that’s all okay! We’ll sort it out afterwards - when you’re in the moment, just enjoy every glorious second!

2. WALK SLOWLY - this seems obvious, but same as the aisle walk, it’s hard to do when you’re overthinking it. Hand in hand with your partner, walk slowly and even better - stop halfway and have a kiss. Those photos are always a vibe!

3. KEEP GUESTS ORGANISED - Have a coordinator on hand to guide your guests, hand out the confetti and remind them how to throw it! (always up and over - not directly at your faces!)

Let’s get to know each other - a few facts about me ✨

:: I have three absolutely wonderful but crazy children, so if you need help organising those little ones, I’m your gal!

:: My husband and I met when we were 18 and 19. We got engaged while on holiday in Turkey in 2016 and got married in the village church, where I grew up in August 2017.

:: I used to work in primary education, went on maternity leave shortly before Covid hit and never went back. Best decision I ever made 🫶🏼

:: I am a total foodie, give me great food and a great glass of wine any day!

:: I have eight tattoos.

:: I’m absolutely obsessed with weddings and love stories, knowing that I can make the best day of your life a little bit less stressful, is a privilege that I never take for granted. You may spot me tearing up at the back of your ceremony - just know I’m fully invested from the day we meet!

:: I have a total sweet tooth - you will probably find me snacking on chocolate or sweets for a quick fix!
