Coinciding with the recent appointment of three new partners, and wider investment in the development of the practice, 2024 brings another special milestone for George Hay Chartered Accountants as we celebrate our 85th Anniversary.

We enjoyed a fantastic evening eating, drinking and reminiscing at Edworth Manor, and we look forward to many more years ahead!

This year we teamed up with our neighbours to offer a 10 bed house just across the field. Our first bride & groom absolutely loved their romantic walk back under the stars reminiscing about the wonderful day! 🏡🛌🏼👰🏼🤵🏼🎉

Brilliant time had by all at this lovely wedding last week. 50 guests enjoyed a ceremony in the meadow, before drinks, canapes & hog roast and finally a fabulous band. The bride & groom did all their own decorations so it was just perfect for them 😊 Congratulations, thank you for choosing here 🎉

Edworth Manor Barn is one of the biggest of its style in the area, easily sitting 120 for a formal wedding breakfast with band, dance floor and bar - and no need to rearrange between the afternoon and evening - perfect 👌🏼

But when you want to go bigger, we've got clever ways of joining on a marquee for extra space. Marquees with clear walls are spot on an uninterrupted view of the countryside 🌾🌳

Outdoor inspo continued: This little tipi hosted a beautiful ceremony for one couple.

Keeping the back low shelters the bride & groom during those special moments while the open front draws guests in, and later on keeps the visual connection between the party in the barn and those guests chilling in the tent! 🥰

Inspo for our outdoor space: Circular open sided pole tent placed opposite the double door to the main barn creating an outdoor bar for arriving guests (as well as shelter or shade come rain 🌧️ or shine ☀️!). Great for our bigger wedding receptions!
